A new week! Come walk with us!

I got in a mile this morning! Might walk again after lunch... not sure as I think I'm struggling with some sinus crud again. I'm so tired of winter already!

Will try to get out walking when I recover from snow shoeing. The sad part is that I thought I was really taking it easy.
Becca, have you seen a doctor about your sinus issues? Perhaps it is an infection that need antibiotics or something?

I went to the gym and did a half hour on the elliptical yesterday.
And then snuck some pics of Bob and Thomas playing racquetball. It was bad lighting with my little point and shoot, but I'll be adding one to my weekly layout.

Yesterday was a rest day for me. Well, at least when it comes to walking. I didn't do much resting at all - it was my youngest DD's 5th birthday and I waited till the last minute to bake her cake, get her gifts, and so on.

Aggie, I think my sinuses kicked into gear over being out in the cold, damp weather on Saturday. I'm feeling much better this morning.

Today's one of those days where I just want to crawl back into bed after the kids leave, so I'm really gonna have to push myself to get on that treadmill this morning instead.

I'm still going strong with my Chalean Extreme videos. Today is "Burn Intervals and Ab Burner"
:)
Yay for us!
I hope your sinus issues go away quickly Becca. Have you ever checked in to the Netipot system if you are prone to sinus-y troubles? I know people who swear by it!

Thanks, Cheri! I have thought about that - more for my daughter than me, though. My last bout of sinus trouble was my own fault... standing outside on a bitterly cold and damp day for almost two hours over the weekend. For the most part, I do OK until spring allergy season hits.

The last two days have been outdoor photo shooting days. Wednesday I was out hiking the dunes and carrying about 20 pounds of gear. What a workout!!!! Then yesterday it was sunset on the beach walking and shooting. It doesn't feel much like exercise when you're in a place that is astoundingly beautiful! But let me tell you, exercise it was indeed. Heart rate, breathing hard, sweating. Yep, I exercised.

Done for today... 2 miles on the treadmill. Today's my daughter's birthday party and that one piece of cake will probably suck up all those calories I just burned off. LOL!

Tomorrow's a rest day for me... see ya'll on Monday!

You're doing great, Angie! Keep it up and you'll be at that 30-minute-2-mile mark in no time! This last set of "3 days on" (I do a three days on, one day of rest schedule) is the only time I've been able to consistently get that 2 miles in under 30 minutes on all 3 days.

I did have my cake, and oh, I was bad for dinner. I made DH and I Chicken Broccoli Alfredo over angel hair pasta. Not exactly diet food, huh? But at least I only ate one serving... DH went back for another.

mmm...Alfredo, we actually have that on the schedule for this week. I haven't been cooking "diet" per say, just been adding in healthier meals (especially breakfast and lunch) and cutting back everyones portions for dinner. I think that's how i've been able to keep up with that for a little over a month now. If I want something I have it, but I've found that the junk food can sit in our house, like last week on Superbowl Sunday, and I have no desire for it.

Today, 1/2 mile. I just didn't feel like walking on the treadmile so I stopped. Back at it tomorrow

That's what I've been doing too, Angie. I've also been cutting out any carb portions of our dinners... like sides of rice or potatoes. I haven't cut back on pasta just yet, because let's face it, sometimes it's the cheapest meal I can make and our tight winter budget calls for cheap.
