With all the weather going on all over the us... i thought how fun it would be to start a discussion poll....


So the question is.... If you had the day off... what weather would you most prefer outside?


and post here what your favorite activity is to do in your weather flavor... (i need some ideas for snow days... lol)

I really like warm weather. Summer is my favorite season. While I don't love a super hot day every day and without air conditioning, I love the beach and the onshore breeze. Wouldn't want it every day of the year, but I love it when I get it.
My daughter loves overcast skies and the colors in the clouds... must be from living in Oregon most of her life. And I must admit the cloud cover makes for pretty good outside photos.

I'd just be happy with a day off, no matter what the weather!!

I love the snow, but don't like the ice or frigid wind that usually accompanies it. I love the sunshine, but can't stand the heat & humidity & sweating during the summer. I like the cool air of Spring and Fall, but I have horrible outdoor allergies during those seasons.

I love the sun, but would prefer it to not be terribly hot.
Sun shine with a light breeze, a good book and a comfy spot in the shade would be perfect way to spend a day off.

I vote for sunny. Spring is my favorite season, when we get sunnier, increasingly longer days, and all the newness after the dark grey winter.

Late spring/early summer - May and June around here. Lovely weather, not hot yet, the tree pollen is done, and roses are coming out. The June rose bloom around here is breathtaking.

I love spring, when the temperatures are in the 70's and the sun is shining. Nothing better to me than digging in the dirt and planting flowers. (But I do get tired of planting after awhile and I hate to weed, lol)

I love walking in the rain. I also love walking in the snow while it's snowing, without an umbrella. I always laugh when I see people walking around with umbrellas while it's snowing. Just put a hat or such cover on your head and go.

Fall...and a nice, crisp walk somewhere neat. A hike, pretty scenery, anything out of my ordinary neighborhood;)

Sunny and warm not hot. I love a warm autumn day. Actually, I like all the seasons, I appreciate the change but I don't like the bitter cold.

Give me a snowy day where we can get out there and play in the softly falling white stuff. Love to make snow angels, foot patterns, snow forts, and sled. No snowmen here....our snow is too dry. Love snowy weather. Bring it on!

I love the sunshine, it's one of the things I love about living in Southern Arizona. I do love a rainy day too, we get so few of them here, so I love those rainy days where it just rains all day, a good steady rain that soaks everything and the sound of the rain on the roof just relaxes you. Ahhhhh

For me....give me a nice sunny day or a rainy thunderstorm day....if its sunny and I'm off, then I have a chance to wash the car and ride with the windows down listening to music....if its stormy then I can watch all the LOVE movies I want!

Well, there aren't many of us....I LOVE winter too altho my winter is a bit different than your's it seems...I love gray dreary drizzely days in the summer too tho...don't dare say that to too many people....I have a million things i love to do on those days or not, happy with either.

This morning i woke up to fog, and hearing of snow up n denver... and im sadly disappointed that we are not getting some snow.. well yet anyways.

Then i thought of this thread.

I had a hard time picking...I think it really depends on my mood. There were two that I know I would never pick - wind and overcast. But I love the sun, rain, and snow. Right now I am ready for sunshine and warm weather though!

Unlike many of my friends here, we had some very cold weather, but not nearly enough snow for either my mood or our water supply. So right now, we can still have snow as far as I'm concerned.

This is me also. I love the drizzly day. I've been in CA visiting my daughter and her family this week and its been rainy, cold and overcast most of the week. I love it compared to the 80 degrees back in GA. I am a winter and rain person.

I love it Sunny! I just hate when it's super super hot though, I've always had low blood pressure and it doesn't seem to go with extreme hot weather.

I miss most since moving to Florida from Montana a season called "Indian Summer" which actually comes in the fall, with unexpected warm sunny days, cool nights and all the fall colors. Its the best!

I am NOT an outside person, but would prefer a sunny, 75^oF day if I'm going to be out there. Otherwise, as long as the kids can go outside (aka no thunder and lightening) we're fine.
