I went to the store this morning and got food for the next 3 nights.
Tonight: Shrimp, Asparagus, Red potatoes (cut into chunks, seasoned, & steamed in the microwave)
Saturday: grilled hamburgers (I'll have mine on one of those Arnold thin sandwich wheat buns), corn, lettuce & tomato for the burger (but I'll eat extra on the side)
Sunday: chicken breast cooked in the crock pot, then shredded and bbq sauce added (with the buns from Saturday), green beans
They will probably eat chips, too, on Sat and/or Sun.
I felt like I was off plan for lunch today. Meaning what I ate was yummy and filling...but it was within my points. Taco Bell Fresco Grilled Chicken Burrito. Yum!
Have y'all planned out your weekend?
Oh, I'll probably have deviled eggs in there one of those nights.

Well, on Fridays we have pizza. I'm addicted! So it will be Pappa Murphy's Mediterranean Herb Chicken Delight pizza with a salad. We will just eat less pizza which will not be a problem because I know it will be filling. For lunch we will have turkey burgers with the thin pita sandwich rolls instead of buns. And we'll have a fruit salad. I haven't really thought past today. Sundays I make dinner and my DS, DIL, and DGS all come over for dinner. That is usually the meal I spend the most time planing each week. And still, I have not thought about it. I guess I'd better decide soon!

We are going to be out of the house most of the day tomorrow for dd's opening day of softball, so I am planning on eating a good sized breakfast and am sure I will end up using some of my weekly points for the rest of the day, but we will see. I will throw some point friendly snacks and veggies in my purse.
Good for you Charlene for being so prepared. Dh is out of town, so we have had lots of "kid food" this week. Last night we had popcorn shrimp and I just threw mine on top of a salad and it was so good!

Sounds great, and the planning is the best aspect! Those Arnold bread thins are the best, aren't they? I prefer those to rolls. I toast them and spread a very little bit of peanut butter on them when I want a PB sandwich.
If any of you own the Pampered Chef or Paula Deen (lined, for easy cleanup) cast iron casseroles (too heavy for stovetop but wonderful in the oven) they do a sensational job with one dish meal, and also with roasting vegetables, like those red potatotes. They get crispier, especially if you use your two tsp olive oil allowance. It's a nice change from steamed sometimes.

I really love the Arnold Bread Thins too - in fact, I rarely have loaf bread on hand any more unless I have a specific need for it. Or if dh just really tires of my bread thins! LOL I like being able to taste what's in my sandwich rather than tasting just all bread so I really enjoy them alot. And I agree, they are great for toasting.
And Pat, I have one of Paula Deen's cast iron casseroles and I love it! She's just opened a new restaurant not far from us in Cherokee and we are waiting until the newness wears off to go try it.

This casserole sounds like a good idea. I don't have the one you all are talking about, but I suppose any cast iron pot will do.
