photomom
I use PSCS4 and Bridge to download, organize and view/work with my files. I've tried tagging them on the PC and then transfering them to EHDs because they make my PC run so slow, and found that the tags didn't "stick". Is that correct? I was hoping that since they are in the File Info, the would travel back and forth.
DiannaC
You tagged in Bridge? Because, I think they should have followed then. Look through the picture metadata. Hope this helps.
HeidiD
Are they JPG files or PNG files? If they're PNG, there's no place for the tags to stay put in the file, so they can be lost when the PNG is moved. With JPG, TIF, or PSD, they should still be there. Rose Ann
You might also try saving the Bridge cache to the EHD, too. Somewhere there's an option to export it....I'll try to poke around in the Bridge and find it.
candyK
kayla lameroux is currently offering a free 'work with her not quite class'--IF that makes sense about using LightRoom to organize to avoid this very problem. I'm not very techie and having some trouble following it, but she imports ALL of her scrap supplies into LR, converting the png files to tif to avoid this not being able to tag deal. digiscrap101 is her website. I'm trying it after losing my ACDSee work, struggling with picassa and wanting a 'final solution' where the tags stay and I can actually just find things and scrap.
