I wanted to send a bunch of photos to my family and I was wondering if there's a way to resize the whole batch in PSCS4 or in Bridge.

File>scripts>image processor. Select the original folder and a NEW destination folder for the resized photos. The select "resize to fit" and then the pixel dimensions you want. Probably 640x280 would work. Ignore step number 4.
You might also consider just uploading you photos to an album online and sending the link to it, instead of sending the actual files. They can then view them and/or download or not from the online album.

That's a great idea, Patty -- my family has a group account where we can upload photos and everyone has access to them. Now if I could just get my family to upload their photos...
