It sounds like you and your hubby have such a positive attitude and that is so wonderful!
The weather here has been horrible, I finally broke down and bought some of those rain boots - they are a black and white houndstooth pattern so if I have to look ridiculous at least I can do it in style! LOL
I did a mile video workout last night and jogged around the living room a few times
can't wait for the sun to shine

I agree. These cold, wet, and gray days of spring are so rough. And then you get one or two days in a row of real Spring weather and then it snaps right back to the dark and dreary. That almost makes it worse, doesn't it? It shouldn't be too much longer now... just a few more weeks.
You're so right about the scary economy. Right now, out of the three men in DH's family who live in our area - every one of them is out of a job and all within the last 6 months. Places are closing down left and right. DH and I have always said that if something would happen to his job that we would consider moving from here. One of the benefits of my job... I can go ANYWHERE there's WiFi. So we're keeping that option open as well.

Friday morning here means a double-dose of ChaLEAN Extreme for me today. Burn Intervals and Ab Burner. And trust me... Ab Burner is EXACTLY what it sounds like. Last week on Saturday morning, I woke up with sore abs after that workout... who would have thought your ABS could be sore?? Not sure I'll get a walk in today, too. We'll see how my afternoon goes. I've got some exciting work-related things to work on today that are going to need my full attention.

Sara, I don't like the gym either. It's a meat market for single people I think. Not my thing at all - even when I was single and skinny. LOL!
Angie, you amaze me, girlfriend! Are you finding yourself hungrier on the days you really get a good Bowflex workout in? Since starting ChaLEAN last week, I'm getting stomach-growling hungry by meal time and snack time. It's been a challenge to balance the right amount of good food to eat each meal or snack.
Sarah, do you have snow this morning? We do!
I haven't been walking much this week, because of ChaLEAN and some other things going on. I should jump on the treadmill today, since it's a CE rest day for me.
But I'm a bundle of nerves right now, waiting to hear if DH will be laid off today or not. It's been very stressful in our house these last few days with the not-knowing, but good possibility that he'll be job-less by the end of today's workday.
Becca, I hope that you get good news today! I'll be thinking about you.
Rich says he needs the discipline of the gym - I just find it so boring and it doesn't motivate me at all - and I get alot more walking in by walking through the neighborhoods looking at all of the pretty flowers and lovely homes. I don't stop and look, but it makes my walk so much more interesting and I like to walk the entire Main Street too when no one is out - if I walk both sides twice I've gotten a really good workout. Fast walking with Rich isn't easy either cause his stride is like three times longer than mine and I can't keep up with him! I walk fast but my stride is short, I guess so I do it alone and it clears my head and by the time I get home, I feel so good! Lots of energy and it motivates me to continue working hard around the house! Best part is that long shower when I'm finished - my head is clear and the shower is more cleansing than ever! I feel so refreshed when I do that!

Unfortunately, we already heard back and the news is not good. He lost his job.
Oh, I'm so sorry to hear that, Becca!

I know exactly what you mean. I haven't touched our treadmill in over a week now. I can't bring myself to do it.
