Hi, Scrap Girls! I'm hoping some of you can suggest a title, a quote, or some word art for two pages in my niece's wedding album. I have photos of the groom's mother adjusting his tie, and him kissing her, and of my sister addressing her about-to-be son-in-law, and him hugging her. I have no idea what any of them actually said, but love and caring is fully apparent in their faces. There needs to be some text on the page, but I'm drawing a total blank! Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Hmmmmm.....that's a tricky one. First thing that came to mind was something about a mother's love (and a mother-in-law's too). Certainly not a polished quote, but maybe it will jog someone's creativity.

Once blessed with a wonderful mother, I am twice blessed with my mother-in-law

we can change it too...

Once blessed with a wonderful daughter, I am twice blessed with my son in law....

I'm bad at thinking up quotes off the top of my head, so I'm going to refer you to an ebook we have in our boutique:
Scrapbook Quotes: The right quote for your scrapbook layouts
It contains hundreds of quotes for a variety of topics, and might just have the perfect ones for the album you are creating :)

Great quote, Angela! Changing it to fit my needs I would say, "once blessed with a wonderful daughter, I am twice blessed with my daughter-in-law"

..........and I do love my son-in-law too! :giggle_bear:

There is a song called "The Man You've Become" that is lovely.

Part of it goes:

Big wheels, hot wheels
Little trucks and cars
Skinned knees, climbing trees
Wishing on the stars
Moments may be lost somewhere in time
But the sweetest memories are never left behind
Now you've grown so fine
And come so far...

I'm so proud of who you are
The man you've become
Thrilled to share your deepest joy
To know you've found the one
For the great things you will do
I'll be blessed cause you're my son
But I'll always see the boy
In the man you've become
A hundred years from now it will not matter what my bank account was,the sort of house I lived in, or the kind of car I drove, but the world may be different because I was important in the life of a child....

Thank you all for your suggestions. I found two quotes in Ro's book that will work, and I like Angela's quotation, too. The difficulty I was having is that so many quotations on love and/or marriage are suitable for the bride and groom to say, but not so much for their mothers. Since the album is a surprise, I can't ask the groom what they said, or what he was thinking. My sister doesn't remember what she said. I don't want to put words in anyone's mouth. So I think what I'm going to do is print a selection, and include some blank journaling blocks and fasteners, as well as a set of stickers for a title, when I send the album. Then Trevor can choose what seems appropriate - and put it in his own handwriting.

You could put something like "celebrating (or honoring or welcoming) new family members."

How about something like this for one of them: Never Too Old for a Mother's Love

An idea for the other one: New family = More love
