I thought I'd work myself up to ChaLEAN Extreme. I don't think I could keep with it right now. I'm going for a gentler re-entry with Slim in 6.

I looked at CE as an entry-level program. And trust me, I am NOT in good shape. I'm overweight by about 60 pounds, and other than walking/jogging and some Kettlebells now and then since January, I haven't had a regular program like CE before. Ever in my life.
Slim in 6 is much more cardio, I think. That's why I stayed away from it. I'm not so coordinated. ChaLEAN takes everything nice and slow for 3 out of the 5 days, and the cardio days aren't so bad at all.
I'm really enjoying it and actually look forward to it each day. Chalene Johnson isn't as annoying as some of the other DVD workouts I've done in the past, and I really like that about CE.

I am currently in the Push month and now realize I actually need a heavier set of weights to really get the most out of it. I'm hoping to get those within a month or two. Come on Craigslist!!

Cheri, I'm with you... I need some heavier weights, too. I haven't been able to find anything on Freecycle or Craigslist yet, though. I might try hitting some Goodwill stores soon. Sure can't afford those SelectTech weights at $300! Geesh!
Sheri, I'm impressed at anyone who can do more than one BeachBody program at a time. I purposely went with ChaLEAN because most days, it's 45 minutes or less.
I guess I'm in the minority here... I hate cardio. Not because I don't like to sweat or get moving, but because the moves tend to be so complicated for my uncoordinated self and I never get the full "effects" of what they should be targeting. I'm working on that, though. Taking ballet once a week is oh-so-slowly improving my coordination and balance.

Cheri, I also take more days off than the schedule. I find it difficult to workout on 12 hour work days. But, I'm still losing weight and inches. So, it's working.
WTG everyone. Yay for us.

You know what I noticed this morning... I can see my toes again!!! I don't think I've seen my toes (without leaning over) since I was first pregnant with Chaislynn, and she's 5 now! I'm just 9 pounds shy of being at the weight I was when I had my first OB appointment with her, too! My first mini-goal is to hit that weight by my birthday on May 1st. I think I might just make it! Thanks to ChaLEAN, of course!

HI Steph. Good to see you here. Go to it with ChaLEAN and TurboFire. So glad you're seeing the results you want! Keep us posted.
