Ryder Maxwell Is Here! Dylan and Nolan's baby brother. Pics added

Well, Beth had the baby this morning. Ryder Maxwell Wood was born at 6:20 am, weighs 5 pounds, 4 ounces and is 17 inches long. Yeah, he's a tiny little bundle of love ... he decided to surprise us all and arrive a month early by C-section.

Beth, our daughter, is doing fine. Ryder is experiencing some respiratory problems, so he is on a CPAP machine to assist his breathing right now. We're expecting him to be in the hospital for awhile. Other than that, he has the right number of fingers and toes!

Can't believe we now have FOUR grandchildren! Will appreciate your prayers for Beth and Phil and the boys!

Congratulations! He sounds like a healthy size. Two of my nephews were that early & are now both over 6 foot and college graduates. Hope your grandbaby is able to come home soon.

I still can't believe you're old enough to be a grandma at all, let alone to four!

I'm sure Ryder will be running circles around you before you know it! Those CPAP machines suck (or blow?) for now, but eh... You do what you gotta do!
