Hi! :waving-hi:

I meant to start a thread Monday. Then, I meant to start a thread yesterday. Now, here we are at Wednesday.

I had weigh-in today. It seems to always be a nice surprise since my scale weighs higher than theirs. lol
I was down 3.2lbs. Sooo...14.6 REMOVED. (I'll keep emphasizing that word for a while. lol)

Not quite enough for that next 5 lb star. But, I did pass up that 5% mark so I stayed for part of the meeting at their encouragement. I think they like to do the rewards as encouragement to everyone there. (I stayed long enough for her to give me "recognition.") I had Nathan with me.

I am so happy that I got my senses together and decided to DO something about my weight. No need to look back in irritation at the previous bad choices. Just look ahead! :walkinghelmet:

How about you guys? How's it going?

Yay for you!!! Really wonderful! I was able to take off 30 lbs almost two years ago now. Have kept if off w/excercise and watching what I eat. But, I must admit that these last few weeks of winter have been challenging. Need that warmer weather to get out walking! Keep it up, and remember to celebrate those significant milestones! The only way to look is forward :)

Way to go Char!! I have continually put on weight for the last 10 1/2 yrs. since I hurt both my knees. Well after a miracle (literally!) I can do normal things without pain again. So it took me a over 8 months to get serious now that I can exercise and I have lost almost 14lbs in six weeks. I have 30 more to go to get to my target weight! I owe it all to God first! Then Zumba and eating right! Dr. Colbert's books (he's a Christian doc) have really helped my husband and I understand alot more about nutrition and our bodies then we ever did before. Keep up the good work!!

WTG Charlene! I'm so happy for you! I was actually up .5 lbs this week but I'm OK with that because I am at the first plateau point. I think my body fights going below this particular point and I know that as long as I keep counting I'll break through it. I'm still down 9.5 lbs in the first 4 weeks and that's something to celebrate. Feeling great and finding it easy to stick with the plan.

Way to go Brenda and Charlene!! I was up .5 lbs, too, but I have't been journalig lately. We go on vacation Sunday for a few days, then when we get back I am going to get serious again. My 3 month subscription runs out in May, so I really need to make the most of the time I have left. We are weeding the yard this week, so I know I will get plenty of excercise!!

Way to go ladies. I am so encouraged when I read your posts. I weighed in this morning, so at the end of 4 weeks I am down 4 pounds. Staying at my 1 pound a week pace, but that's ok. I'm losing.

Great job, girls!!
I am like you, Joyce, no quick losses (removals) just a steady 1lb a week. I am down another one this week for a 16lb total. I think it's important to just persist. Keep it up and in a year that's 52 weeks of 1 per week, right?

Right! If I keep up the same pace, in 6 weeks I'll be at my goal, which is where I was when I did this a few years ago. However, I am thinking about lowering my goal at that time. Baby steps work ok for me. I picked out an outfit that I can't wear now, and I intend to keep going until I get into it.

We just got home from eating at a Mexican restaurant. I figured my points before we went, but I did eat a few chips. I'll have to be good for a few days to make up for it.
