Hey ladies. Sorry that I never got back to last week's thread to comment.
Patsy, you're doing great.
Brenda, I'm waiting for the week that I have a gain. I'm sure I will at some time. And I better have a good attitude about it like you did. lol
Melanie, are you back from vacation yet? I hope you had lots of fun.
Joyce, good for you!
You, too, Rose Ann!

I had weigh-in this morning. (10:30)
I was down 1.6 for a 16.2 total. Yay!

Now I've got to see what's in the house to start making dinner.

Charlene you are funny. So sweet to take the time to catch up. I hit a plateau for the last two weeks now. No weight loss. I am upping the ante now. I am going to do Cardio five days a week now instead of three. That should get the ole numbers going in the right direction again!!
Yeah for you continuing to lose!!

Charlene, that is great. Wow, 16 pounds. I weighed in this morning and I lost 2 this week, for a total of 6 pounds removed. Patsy, keep up the good work. It sounds like you have it under control.

Well, I really haven't been a regular participant but I have been watching sheepishly from the sidelines as you are all doing such a great job. I was very upset that I had gained 8 lbs not only from sitting and "resting my achy breaky ribs" but from an ingredient in a prescription I was taking. Saw my doctor about ten days ago and she said, "Oh, my goodness - that stuff will chubb you out in a minute"! Wellllllllll - it already had chubbed me out! I stopped it immediately and have been walking alot lately and have lost 3.75 lbs already!

Had I known that the prescription would cause that I would never have taken it! It was a non-narcotic med for insomnia called Silenor and my other doctor assured me there were no side effects! Ha! So maybe now with alot of exercise and alot of luck, I'll start downhill with these extra pounds again!

Y'all are doing an amazing job with what you're doing!

You will do great Sara I'm sure! You are a beautiful lady already so whatever you lose will just help you feel better! I always go online and research anything that we take now. (Mostly bodybuidling products for my son and husband, thank God) But it's amazing the info that's out there on anything nowadays...

Thank you, ladies for the motivation and encouragement. I joined WWOnline last Monday, and am loving the new Points Plus program. So far, it's easy to stay in line. Lost 1.7 lbs the first week. Lots to go, and delighted I can get encouragement and share the same here.

That's great, Barbara!

Last week was so hit-or-miss trying to get on the site that I never did start a new thread. I was down .8 or was it .6? I think .6.

I've had not so great weeks. I know I'm an emotional eater. And I've been pretty sad about Michelle Laven's situation. I'm kind of scared about weigh-in tomorrow. Actually, yesterday morning my scale was at the lowest I've seen it. But today it was up a couple of pounds from that. We'll see how it goes tomorrow.

Good for you, Barbara! DH and I joined 24 Hour Fitness last weekend and have been going every night after the kids lay down for reading and bed (my 15 yo ds is home with them and we are only about 5 miles away)

I have 1 month left on my 3 month WW online sign up, i don't think I will sign up again as we have to pay for the gym now. So, over the next month I am going to get all the info I need, and I figure that info combined with the cookbook, magazine and message boards we will be able to follow it pretty good.

Good for you Barbara; 1.7 is great. Charlene, my weight bounces around a lot, so I'm never sure what is right, and I tend to be an emotional eater also. I weigh in tomorrow and it looks like I'll be down a pound for the week. That will give me 9 pounds off in 7 weeks, which is ok for me.
