Well I didn't get my walk in today, by the time I finished some projects and other things it was almost time for the boys to come home. But I did work out on the Bowflex...that's better then nothing!

Hi Ladies. I went to a farm today for my son's field trip. It wasn't a lot of walking, but for some reason (fresh air maybe) it wore me out and I came home and took a nap. I'm probably not going to get a walk in tomorrow either. It's supposed to be raining. We'll see.

I only got 1mi in this evening. I wasn't feeling well all day - I think it's because of all the outside activity from this weekend, maybe some allergies acting up. I guess 1mi is better than nothing!

I wore a pedometer last Saturday while I did cleaning and shopping....and it said I covered over 8 1/2 miles!
So far today I'm at 3 1/2 miles, but I'll go to the gym tonight too. :)

I just bought a pedometer today. I'm going to try to get back in the swing of things after being sick for so long. The goal is 10K-A-Day (10,000 steps per day). I used to be able to do that with no problems (I was a teacher). Now, I'm going to have to work my way back up, but at least I have a goal (and some tinier sub-goals) to aim for.

BTW, I learned today that the pedometer doesn't like riding in the car. I wound up with 200+ steps by the time I picked up all of the kids. :) Gonna have to keep a paper log until I can afford to get a "smarter" one.

I didn’t get to my water aerobics class today. Hubby went into work late so it threw my schedule all off. By the time I got his lunch packed and breakfast made it was too late! I missed that time!! Work had me hopping and was not able to get to Curves either for the free trial but the secretary (who was going with me) has decided it too much to try to squeeze in the lunch hour, so I’m committing to walking 30 minutes of my lunch hours. So I guess, basically I was a bum all yesterday as I just didn’t fit anything into the schedule.

This morning I am definitely doing one of my Leslie Sansone dvds. I love her workouts. My goal is to work back up to her Walk/Jog dvd and use my rebounder with the job portion of the workout. I need to incorporate weights back into the mix. I need to take a serious look at my schedule and pencil in some “me time”.

today has been a STRESSFUL day. it seems like one thing after another has gone wrong, in the middle of it all my computer decided to not restart. UGH. I finally got it started and went to check Carbonite and found out nothing was backed up, I think this is a result of some other computer issues i've been having since Jan. So i'm now moving it all over to my EHD (since it will take a few weeks to back up to Carbonite) in case the worse happens...and i'm also computer shopping. It's about time, this one is a few years old, but it's been so good I hate to get a new one.

But I was a good girl, during all of this I was craving fast food as a stress relief. Instead, I started moving files over, put on my walking shoes and got my 5 miles in. I felt much better once it was over..and I didn't have that greasy "blah" feeling.

I so can't wait for this day to be over...tomorrow has to be better!

Oh no, Angie! Hope today is a better one for you!

I haven't posted here in a few days, but I've been doing good. On Monday, we had beautiful warm Spring weather. DH and I went out for a nice, long walk in the morning... almost 6 miles! Came home, got some work done, made dinner. After dinner, I went back out for another walk with my son Josh and our dog AJ. Another 2 miles in. So almost 8 miles in one day!

Tuesday, it rained. It was a ChaLEAN day, so I did get a workout in.

Today, it's probably going to rain all day again, and I've decided to take a rest day. It's Day 30 in my ChaLEAN program, so it's time for weigh-in, measurements and photos. I'm kinda nervous to see my results... I know the scale went down, so I'm wondering if there's physical evidence I can see yet.

Again, this morning I missed my water aerobics (will be so glad when hubby gets back to normal schedule next week!!). I did get a very nice walk in during my lunch hour. It was just beautiful out and walking around the town on sidewalks is much easier than walking the gravel country roads. It also gave me more energy to go through a busy afternoon at work!! Hoping to get another little walk in tonight (with the dogs) – I love that it is staying light out longer!!

How you doing today, Angie? Better I hope!!

I caught a nasty cold over the weekend, so I pretty much just slept and laid around yesterday. Today, I made myself go outside and take a small stroll through the park. The fresh air and sunshine felt good. I walked about 1.4 miles in 30 minutes, so quite a bit slower than my normal pace. But it was something. I think I'll sleep great tonight :)

It's been pretty quiet around here...how are all the walking girls doing?

I had to do mine in 2 parts today. I got up to mile 4.5 and realized a delivery guy (which I had to be home for) was due to my house within 45 min so I had to head home. But then I got back out this afternoon and did another 2, so 6.5 for the day..and i'm getting ready to go hit the Bowflex. Really...I would like to just "hit" it, because I know as soon as I do it today tomorrow my arm/back/stomach will be sore. LOL

I've been sick. Today I walked to Walgreens & back, which was about 1-mile round trip. That's all I can handle.

Go Angie!! Hit that Bowflex :)

I am so behind the 8-ball today! I had to rearrange my schedule to help out a friend in need and have been rushing around all day ever since. Not that I begrudge helping out - but I feel like I've been on a treadmill all day and going no where fast! I still have a lot to accomplish before night fall so I don't think I'm going to get any exercise time in today :(

Great job, Becca! Enjoy your rest day.
I'm sorry you're sick, Tiza. Feel better soon!
Glad you're day is better, Angie.
That was nice of you to help out your friend, Bride. Sounds like you have a full day.

I haven't been a good girl this week. Eating bad choices, and I haven't been able to get out walking.

That's changing though! I did 2 miles this morning, and a bought fruit for snacks. Yeah! I'm going to go to the track tonight and do more walking after supper.

Molly and I went on a 3 mile walk with some friends. It wasn't my usual pace, but it was a walk. It's raining today. A good day to tear down some wall paper.

Just added 2 more miles. It got really nice out, so I went out for a bit.

Also...I had to retire my favorite pair of jeans. Me and these jeans have seen alot of miles, and they have stuck with me through many up and downs (pounds that is) The button was no longer on them (lost that during some of the "ups" times when they just barely fit) and they were starting to get a little worn out. The one thing I could count on with them was the trusty drawstring tie. Well yesterday, it got to the point that I couldn't tie them tight enough to keep them up..while this is good thing, it's also a sad thing. So they have officially moved to the "can't wear anymore" pile. I'll pull them out from time to time when i'm around the house and need something to clean the yard up in, but they will never see the outside world again.

LOL...now that's a thought

I got 2 miles in and a Bowflex workout yesterday. But then I also spent the rest of the day outside with the boys practicing baseball...so I think I got my workout in. LOL
