CRS Posted May 7, 2011 Share Posted May 7, 2011 6:00 PM MT - Speed Scrap Ready for a special edition of the Speed Scrap? We'll give you 6 tasks, spread out over an hour, to include in your layout. It's a challenge because you never know what will be required next!! Join Carla (crs) and Angela (angelaNussbaum) at 6 pm MT! If you can't make the chat or have chatroom problems, I'll be updating this thread as we reveal the tasks. Post your layouts in the NSD Gallery. You will have one hour after the chat to post your layouts to be eligible for a prize! We will pick a random winner from those posted within the time frame! Oh, and the prize is a Collection Mini! Task #1: Angela and Carla are on their way to a Crop. But, the airlines lost their scrapping supplies! Good thing their photos are on memory cards! They stop at the local print shop and have them make prints from 2 of the photos on the memory card. Use 2 photos, but they must be cropped in some way (cut into a different shape, a smaller size, or even delete a portion of the photo). Task #2: Scrappers are a generous group of people, so everyone donates some papers from their stash. Choose 4 papers from at least 2 different designers. At least 1 paper must have stripes. Task #3: Another donation pile appears before the grateful Angela and Carla. This pile has some brads, buttons, tape, flowers, ribbons and fibers in it. Use at least 7 items from the pile! Task #4 There isnt much Angela and Carla can do in the way of cutting papers. Using the papers above have at least 2 square shapes on your layout (think mats, or back ground shapes) Task #5 Due to the lack of supplies there is quite a bit of white space left on the layouts. Be sure to leave at least 1/4 of your layout with white space, and add an additional solid paper! Task #6 While the alphas were coveted, the word arts were openly shared with Angela and Carla. Choose your title and use only word arts to create it on your page. Add at least 3 lines of journaling and the date! ----- Add your drop shadows and any other finishing touches then upload your layout to the gallery in the next hour! Good Luck!!!
