Shredded! Usually I feel like Jello when I'm done, but today I felt good. Hope that continues:)
Oooh, hope it doesn't mean I'll hurt in the morning.
The boys were busy playing outside with a friend, so didn't work out with me.

Good job ladies!! I've been gone for the past 5 hours watching a dance dress rehearsal. It's now 8:40, and I still need to get in my exercise (without disturbing the downstairs neighbor), make lunch for tomorrow, finish folding laundry, clean the bathroom, and get my stuff ready for work. Ugh! Weekends are hectic, and I don't even have kids or a family to take care of. :hit-head-with-hammer:

Holy smokes! What a day, Tiza! I'm glad you're making time for yourself--and sharing it with us. We all have days when it is just really hard to fit the workout in--Sometimes you just have to suck it up and SHRED. Thanks for the great example.

Thanks for taking time to update the chart--we all really appreciate your efforts!

Count me Shredded for Sunday! I have a class all this week, and haven't figured out how I'm going to work-in my work-out yet. I'll have to follow your great examples and make it happen, though!

I did a workout tonight - but not Shred. I didn't think my downstairs neighbor would appreciate me jumping around above his bedroom this late at night. So I hopped on my recumbant exercise bike, and rode 4.4 miles in 25 minutes. I then did a few reps of the crunches exercises from the Shred videos (regular, reverse, and oblique twists). I'll get back into the Shred routine tomorrow.

As I was on the floor doing my crunches, Noelle decided to join me. She started licking my hair, kneading her paws through my head, and then wrapped her body around my head. It made exercising a little tricky!! I know this is a icky quality cell photo, but it's pretty funny:

Cats are so funny - I guess she figured that since you were on the floor that it was time to curl up with you and go to sleep - my Hannah-cat has this time clock in her head that at 10pm we simply HAVE to go to bed and somehow she knows and comes and very loudly meows and meows at us telling us "isn't it time we were all in bed"?

Silly Kitty!! That's too funny!

I don't know how long our hike was on Saturday. It was hilly and muddy, but we couldn't go very fast because it wasn't a good trail...not an established trail. I didn't end up working out at all yesterday. I was just too tired!

But today, Buddy and I walked for over an hour. It is just way to nice to be inside today. I got a good workout in!

I ended up not walking Sunday night - too pooped after walking back and forth from camper to house taking stuff in, putting it away, doing laundry ... etc ... soooooooooo ... none for me Sunday :(

Checking in!

Day 5 (Friday) - did not do any workout, hubby wanted to go out...so, we did :)

Day 6 (Saturday) - did not do the workout, but for 2 and half hours in the morning I was outside doing yard work, then went inside to do some cleaning....I tell you, that was more than what I do when I workout, hahaha!-

Day 7 (Sunday) - did a the 30 minute Work & Kick part of my workout video. It's the regular walking stuff but she included some kick boxing kind of steps. So, no weights involved.

Day 8 (Monday) - just finished the 20 minute walk video with 2 lbs weight.

I think I am all caught up :)

oh my gosh...day 9 already. Tonight will be my official weigh/measure day...fingers crossed for some decent (or at least SOME) results, especially after last weeks gain. LOL

Day 9 is done plus a 3 mile walk. I took it easy on the boys, as I remember what those first few days of walking 5 miles a day were like, especially when I worked up to it. So today we did a nice, slower 3 miles talk/walk session

Tonight is my weigh-in too, although I don't feel very confident. I'm not feeling any change in my clothing yet, but maybe next week I will start noticing. I am noticing a SLIGHT improvement in my endurance level for the level 1 workout!!

I went clothes shopping in my drawers again this weekend and found all my pants I had saved from my clean out about a month ago, because they still fit, no longer fit. So they all got packed up and went to a friend. Had to go to Wal Mart and buy 1 more pair of capri jeans..so I had at least 2 pairs to wear for the summer. Luckily my aunt passed down alot of workout type capri's at the end of last month that now fit..so i'm not investing in a bunch of new clothes.

As for endurance...i've noticed my big improvement in the squat/punch type of movements. When I started I could barely squat..and man it hurt. LOL I felt like my knees where barely bent. Now I can squat almost to where I could be sitting in a chair and last for the whole time. I hurts, but I can do it. My husband just shakes his head at me as he walks through the room.

It's convenient how he always has to get ready to go to work when I start the workout..lol He did do it with my once, but after the fact told me if Jillian really wanted men to work out along with her then she would of picked at least 1 partner that was a little larger in the chest..and that would keep men interested. Men!!
