William was napping, so no little heart for him today. Michael was a trooper and worked hard again. He must be a little sore though, b/c he looked uncomfortable and put the weights down after about 5 minutes in and just did the motions without weights today:) Smart boy.

I also wanted to say that I'm making every effort to eat healthy throughout these 30 days. Yesterday I was very successful and so far today is the same. I even resisted chocolate cherry cake with poured fudge frosting that I made for hubby this weekend, and I'm urging him to eat up so it doesn't call my name at night! It is my goal to focus on controlling my sugar and carb intake.
You all are doing great!! Keep it up!

I hope you feel better soon, Carla! I had so hoped that the doctor visit would say that you weren't down with that!
I guess I've reached the snapdragon part of my life today - part of me has snapped and the rest of me is draggin'!!!!
Can't wait to see what cute little markers Tiza comes up with!

LOL...I didn't stop today, but I also didn't keep up with the girls. I did ok until the very end (minus the jumping jacks that I made some replacements on) But the bicycle crunches...ooohhh! those hurt!

LOL..right there with you. Let's just say I've been very thankful these last 2 days that when my husband replaced the toilets in the house he got the taller ones instead of the "normal" height.

bowl of JELL-O.
Day 2 was different from Day 1--I was definately sore, but my endurance seemed better except for push-ups. I have two surgically repaired shoulders, but I know I can make them stronger. (Part of the reason I started digitally scrapping is because I became frustrated with the loss of manual dexterity after my surgeries.)
Does anyone have anything they are alternating with the SHRED?--I thought it was three workouts that rotated, but the "DO #1 until you get better or you die!" scares me a little.
Thoughts?

Take it easy, Carla. Your body needs rest to heal. My friend always tells me to put on socks, lay down with my feet up, and drink hot tea. She says it helps you body draw out and fight infection naturally. I don't know about that, but I do know it always make me feel like I've been hugged!

Now that sounds like a good way to get a hug! I like the idea of socks, feet up, and a cuppa tea......
The chart is adorable - looks so cute with all the hearts on it.

LOL! Too funny, Sara! I'm in the last week of the school year, working under the philosophy of "If you aren't freaking out, you clearly don't understand the situation!" Tonight, we sleep. Tomorrow, we breath. The rest will work out.

If you ever feel like attempting Level 2, go for it. Some of the exercises are more difficult, but some I found easier or more enjoyable. If you need a break, you can also go for a 20-30 minute walk in place of the shred video. Listen to your body.

I've found that if I do the moves at a slightly slower pace than Jillian, Anita, and Natalie, I am able to last longer. But I still feel the muscles working! I think I need to get slightly heavier weights, though, as I'm still using 2lb. ones.
