My big push right now is trying to exercise - ugh!!! I hate it. BUT - my boss is an exercise nut (and a size 2 I might add!) so anytime I take off to walk is fine with her. The building is a quarter mile long so - 4x gives me a mile. We also have a gorgeous trail around our complex that is a mile. Today I got in 1.5 miles total and have managed to keep on target with eating (except for those crackers and cheese) - If I can keep my evening munchies under control I'll have had a good day!

Hope you are all keeping on track!
Sharon

Hi Ladies - I just found this thread and was thrilled!!! I've "fallen off the wagon" over the past few weeks. I had lost 25# and kept if off for 2 years and at least felt pretty good that I had kept if off. Then over the past few weeks I've had trouble keeping focused and have given in to eating way more than I need! I've done WW and other programs so I do know what I should to. Anyway - off to a better start this week. Eating closer to my points and walked 2 miles today!! I've switched from ice cream to fruit and yogurt for my evening snacks. My goal is to have my slacks get too big!

We've all made it through Wednesday - we can do it!!!

Sharon, welcome back aboard the wagon :-) Congrats on keeping the 25# off, something I can never seem to manage. But now what's past is past and you can't change it, you're back on track, and that's a big accomplishment!

Sharon, I hear ya! Most exercise just makes me angry - I know it's a mental thing, but to do it with a DVD in the family room sucks the life out of me. My husband and I purchased bicycles this year so we're going out for evening rides in the neighborhood trying to build up stamina to go to parks for longer rides. Enjoy your walks and keep up the good work!

Oh, my gosh, oh my gosh! I guess the maple nut goodies didn't do too much damage - I can get into my old Levi's again! Wouldn't wear them out just yet - little tiny bit tight, but I can wear them! Woo-Hoo!

Sara, that's *great* news! Keep it up and you'll be out there in your Levi's once again!

I'm a little stalled, due to "relaxed adherence to the program." (I love that description that was on the WWOnline site.) Just a bit stuck. I really appreciate the reminders here, though, and am going to recommit this week. Thanks for keeping this in front of us!

Ick. Today is weigh in day and it's showing me right back where I was a few weeks ago. I liked yesterday's weight much better. *sigh* So frustrating.

Edit: I swear my scale is possessed. I tried again and I'm down 2 pounds. LOL! I'll take it, and that's what I recorded at the WW site. *g*

LOL! I literally burst out laughing when I read that. I had not seen that one, so thanks so much for the chuckle!! Yes, perhaps that's why I am also in "stall" with you. We'll do better now.....

You think your scale is possessed. I KNOW mine is. My weight bounces around a lot.

You are not supposed to share butter rum lifesavers - there is really only enough for one in a package!!!! Besides - if the package was already opened there are no points - they all evaporated!

I was very good last night at "date night dinner" - I had the salmon with my trusty diet pepsi and didn't eat the brown bread they serve with it which is sooooo yummy! Rich, on the other hand, was not so good...........he considers dinner out a night to eat anything he wants to and I won't even tell you what he had because it was filled with calories and fat and terrible things! :) :) :)

Isn't it frustrating that most men can eat anything without gaining, while we can just look at it and put on pounds. What's fair about that?

I so agree, Joyce! Rich can eat and eat and eat and not gain a single pound - it's just not right! And when he exercises at the gym, I can see results within a week on him - why not me?

I's very unfair. All Dave has do do is proclaim "I need to lose ten pounds" and then he does. Just like that. <_<

.........and what is it with going to the gym one time and coming home with every single thing all tightened up? It takes me workout after workout after workout to see anything tighten up! :) :)

My mom always said to me "who ever told you life was fair?". I guess that applies here.

I love that quote too...and that's exactly what I was over the weekend. How terrible that it was my *first* weekend back! Oh well, my official weigh in is Wednesday and I'll see how much, if any, damage was done. Thanks for helping me "own up" to my lax attention to the program. I'll do better this week, I'm sure!

Ladies. We went to my daughter's yesterday after Church, and I put on a bathing suit (the first time in several years I would wear one in front of anyone). My daughters made me feel so good bragging on my weight loss. My middle daughter decided to join WW online, and I feel like I kind of inspired her to do it. We had a lot of fun in her pool, and took some photos. maybe I'll get brave and scrap some of them.
