I have tried working out in the mornings before, and for some reason my body just cannot do it. I feel ill while working out, and ill all day. It's totally backwards from how it's supposed to be! But then I'm a night owl in other respects, so it goes to figure that my body doesn't want to be THAT awake too early. lol.

Nothing yet for me today. I am planning/hoping to do a Chalene ab workout later.

This morning our water aerobics instructor really shook things up and had 10 stations around the edge of the pool for circut training. Feeling "worked out" this morning - - but it's a good feeling!!

I hung out with Bob this morning for the cardio work out. I'm still sore from Monday's work out, but I otherwise I feel great today. I have a lot of engery and stuff to get done. It helps that it is very cool out today. Dh put a huge dent in the dirt pile last night, so I'll work on that a bit this afternoon and put out some mulch I still need to take care of. I'm a sweaty yucky mess, but feel great!

Carla, I can relate to the piles of gardening/landscaping materials. I had 6 cubic yards of mulch delivered and dumped in our driveway a couple months ago. With all the wet weather and my procrastination, it has taken awhile but there's only about 2 cubic yards of it, if that, left. I have one spot in the garden left to fill and then about 1 cubic yard is being slowly (so each layer can dry completely if damp from outside) put in 2 big Rubbermaid containers in our garage for spot-fill places.

Angie,
Next time, tell Gary to grab the camera! I loved your Designer's Life article this morning!

Patsy,
Congrats on the 31 pounds!! You go, girl!

LOL... Cheri, just think of how awesome those arms are going to look! :)

--

I ran 3.2 miles this morning. One week from today, I'll be running in my first 5K. Still a little worried that I'll be the only "fat girl" there and that I'll end up finishing last, but I am going to do this... no matter what.

Becca, you are NOT the "fat girl" - you are beautiful and you are working very hard ..........

I got my cardio in with Bob today. I was a sweaty mess, but it went by fast and I was able to do most of it. Dh is done with work today and is off until he leaves for school. I'll have him home to motivate me!

Becca, I did my only 5k 5 or 6 yrs ago. I was so afraid I'd finish last and be the slowest one there. I didn't finish last, but having the old men pass me was not very encouraging! But in the end, I finished with my pesonal best time and I was so pumped up that I did it. It will be worth all the time, sweat and tears, I promise!! (And make sure someone is taking photos of you....you'll definitely want to scrap this milestone!)

ok..I have so many layers of sweat going on here it's almost gross..lol We went on our walk at 6:30 this morning and it was already in the high 70's and very humid/thick air. By the time we got back I was dripping. Cooled off a bit and then mowed the grass..new layer of sweat. Now I just worked out for 45min with the boys and added a new, fresh 3rd layer. I'm about ready to make dinner, hit the shower and nap for a bit before I have to start doing club in the AM.

Blech to sweat (not yours, Angie, lol...just sweat in general) I still swear by exercising with a floor fan going full blast from the AC vent straight to my body. If it involves too much sweat I probably won't keep doing it, whatever it is;)

Lean Circuit 1 done today.

Oh goodness Angie you are putting us all to shame!! I have only got to exercise twice since Monday and am sitting here debating if I can make it to my Zumba class this morning or not.. So I am guessing I may not have lost any weight this week. Well I have lost 31 lbs. now since Feb 22 so one week of low exercise won't make or break me will it? ha ha

we'll i've been sidelined for a few days. I did finish my walk today, but woke up to a rash all over my face and puffy eyes. When to an Urgency room tonight and he said it's a chance it's cellulitis (but he didn't see any signs of infection) more likely a reaction to something or I irriated it bad yesterday sweating so much and wiping it dry. So now i'm on round 2 of strong antibiotics/steroids with direct orders to stay out of the heat/sun this weekend and take it easy due to the amount of medicine's i'm on. So it looks like it will be a low key weekend for me..this will be very hard for me UGH!

Oh no, Angie! Heal up soon. *hugs*

No workout for me today...well, I think I'll count the gardening I did in the heat. It was at least a mild workout.

We went on a family walk last night. The pace was pretty good considering the girls were whining the whole time! The dirt pile is almost gone. Cheri, I'm glad to know I'm not alone in that aspect! Today we are headed to my in-laws to chop and stack firewood. I'm tired already!

Oh Angie I am feeling ya!! I use to get Poison Ivy so bad. One time I had it so bad all over my face that my eyes were almost swelled shut! Thank God I never get it like that anymore...
Carla, that's the kind of work I love to do. I would rather be outside working and doing something hard anyday!! But since we live in suburbia the most taxing thing is mowing the lawn and we have a riding mower to do that! So Jillian here I come!!

My DH and I just got done doing our new DVD, Jillian's Trouble Zone Workout. It is a workout alright!! If I hadn't been doing Zumba for awhile I know I would never have been able to do as much as I did do. My husband and I would pass the weights back and forth since we only have one set or we wouldn't have made it to the end at all. ha ha
I didn't lose any weight this last week, so I am looking forward to doing the 30 day shred with everyone who signed up!!
