Can I already whine? My legs are so sore this morning! My plan for today is to walk 30 minutes while one of the girls are at ballet class this morning. I'll check in later today afterwards.
Edited to update...
I had a change of plans, since DH got called in to work this morning. In other words, no one to stay with one of my daughters while I walked during the other's ballet class and walking with DD doesn't get my heart rate up enough. So, I did Level 1 of Jillian's 30 Day Shred DVD this morning! I'm done for today!

Thanks, Theresa! That was my motto for yesterday - "Don't Be Last." I couldn't resist that shirt when I was out shopping on Saturday... purple and with my motto! I had to have it!
I finished 502nd out of 517 runners (official stats aren't posted yet). I was 24th in my age group. I wasn't last in either the overall or my age group, so I met my goal. The important things about yesterday were 1) I did it, 2) I learned something from the experience (don't start out in the front of the pack, if it's your first time), and 3) I've got a time to beat for the next 5K I'll be running in October.
The next one's quite a bit more important to me. Each year, my brother-in-law does a fundraiser to benefit PKU research. PKU (phenylketonuria) is the disorder my youngest daughter has. This year, he's starting a 5K community run that he hopes to continue for at least five years. For that particular event, my hubby and I will probably end up in the newspaper and on TV, so I've got to give that run everything I've got.

My check in today: I walked 1.93 miles in 35 minutes... bright and early this morning before it got too hot! (and so I didn't have to dread it the rest of the day!)
You can mark me of the list of those you don't have to hunt down for today...
I also got my starting weight.......... How did that happen? I think the number is a large as the national debt! This WILL change!

- You must exercise each day of the 30 challenge (6 Days per week- we are taking Sunday off this round) for at least 20 minutes. Feel free to use any video you have on hand (Jillian's 30 Day Shred, Chalean, etc) or you can do any exercise you like, DVD, walk, bike ride, swim or gym.
- You must check in to the check in thread each day to get checked off and your progress charted.
- If you miss a day you can make it up on Sunday, you just have to let me know you did it so I can make sure your chart is correct.
- Feel free to moan and groan..we all do..LOL
PS..it is a good idea to weigh and measure yourself before you start so you can see your own progress. There is no need to share this with the group, it's just for your own benefit. It is always encouraging to see progress.
I'm sure Brandy can squeeze you onto the chart!

I hope to get to 60 pushups in 1 minute (I'm at 40 now) and 40 full sit ups in 1 minute (I'm at 25 now) by the end of the 30 days.
