(me, not you, Conda!) I use the same technique on wrinkles that I use on dark circles. It looks like bad plastic surgery if you take them out all together, but it is easy to minimize them. You could not be more right, April! I had to laugh - I got a demo of something called Portrait Professional once and took every wrinkle I could see out and really it showed me that I do not want to have plastic surgery! Age simply cannot just be taken away as one might think in these programs! But a few wrinkles removed here and there wouldn't be bad! Now, if I could just get that body lift I hear so much about! :)

April Showers
So, the trick for minimizing wrinkles and dark circles- Duplicate your photo first. Make corrections using the patch or clone or smudge tools (or whatever tools you are comfortable with) to eliminate the wrinkles or spots. Lower the opacity of the top layer (the one you've done the corrections on) just a bit until you get a more natural look. Also, the Smart Glow of Melissa's ScrapSimple Tools - Actions: Photo Basics 5001 or ScrapSimple Tools - Actions: Photo Basics PSE 5001 does wonders for minor imperfections. If you don't already have it, you'll want to add it to your cart.
princessrunningfingers
Here's the link to my layout. I spent a good deal of time working on the face, mostly with the dodge tool, as it was heavily shadowed. I fixed some bad spots on my legs with the content aware fill and also the spot healing brush. I love the technique of lowering the opacity a on the duplicate layer just a little. Daydream
