The temperatures are hot and staying cool is a must! Water is a priority in the summer heat! For the August Layout Contest, we’d love to see your layouts featuring Water! Dig out those photos of the kids in the pool, the family on a boat ride, or even a waterfall! Journaling about what water means to you will help make this layout more meaningful to you in the future.

Post your layouts in the August Contest Gallery before midnight MT on August 31st to be eligible to win one of two $10 gift certificates.

Pat, you have chosen a lovely theme for us this month. Hoepfully I will get a page done for this challenge as I do like water.. especially the sea and waterfalls.

I think I can do that. Lots of water babies in this family. As Anne-Marie said, great theme this month. The problem is going to be how to pick one. Decisions, decisions decisions.....

I'm still thinking about mine, but I'm sure I will come up with something.

And here's what I came up with. Not the largest falls by any means, but certainly beautiful, and the rapids were so lovely.

My hubby made an amazing sailing trip from Bermuda up to Mystic Conneticut (Eastern coast). He and his friends Were the Crew -- so they truly 'sailed' the ship!
