I haven't been around much because I've been enjoying the smells, noises, and cuddles of our newest addition, Belén Joy. I had her last Tuesday, and everything went so well. I have been enjoying the rest and break from the many things going on. She's a cutie and such a great baby. Just had to share my bit of joy lately with all of you!

I am so excited that she was born on my youngest son's 30th birthday. If birth dates mean anything, you are in for a lifetime of joy with her. He was the sweetest baby, and the kindest and easiest child to raise.

Oh how precious, Shalae! She's adorable. Congratulations.

I love the name Belen. (Sorry, I've forgotten the alt keystroke for the accented e.) We had a young girl at bible school this summer who was not a regular member of our church whose name was Belen. I told her I knew what her name meant and when I said "Bethlehem" she was astounded that I knew that. I know that because me sister lived in Belen, NM for the last several years of her life. Lovely little southwest town.
