I just bought the Scrap Simple Bubble Wrap paper template set & need some advice. I love the look of the bubble wrap papers & would love to make some in a variety of colors -- but I'm stumped as to how to get them to look like your lovely samples. I know -- "apply background colors and use effects, layer styles, textures, filters and pattern overlays to create a myriad of designs" -- but I'm not so experienced & would like some pointers as to *which* styles, textures, filters, etc. (I'm using PSE7 & have worked my way through Ro's "Secrets" lessons & currently working through "More Secrets"). Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks!
Margaret

Oh I should add that I did make a very pretty paper using two ready made papers, one for the background & the other one for the bubbles (using the paper template as a clipping mask -- ctrl g & ctrl e) --- that came out really gorgeous -- but of course that was cuz I was using 2 already gorgeous patterned papers that someone else had made LOL. What I'd really like is to find out what kinds of settings to use to make my own pretty bubble wrap papers!
Thanks,
Margaret

I don't have this collection, however, I purchased 'COL Moving Day' and there is a bubble wrap paper in the collection. Of course you can use any background paper, as I did. I used COL Moving Day Paper Blue Dots and here is what I ended up with:

Instructions came with the paper and here they are:
COL_MovingDay_Paper_BubbleWrap.png is a semi-transparent background paper that simulates the look of bubble wrap. To achieve the most realistic effect, place paper on top of another background (the cardboard box paper, for example) and then use the Blending Mode "Hard Light" on the bubble wrap paper layer. The bubble wrap paper will instantly take on a more transparent look, while still maintaining the shiny highlights and appropriate shadows. If you are using another software program besides Adobe Photoshop or Photoshop Elements, try experimenting to achieve the best results with your software program. Enjoy!
I hope this works for you. If not, someone else will be along to help you out.
