We have a great momentum going with our shredding pounds and fat and adding "boy muscles"! Let's not lose any ground here - We'll start our September round on Monday the 12th. Sign up now and I'll get you added to the chart. Angie graciously allowed me to use her chart template so I don't have to reinvent the wheel. :) I might be able to add a few little changes though, just to keep you on your toes, lol.

The rules as quoted from Brandy:
"You must exercise each day of the 30 challenge (6 Days per week- we are taking Sunday off this round) for at least 20 minutes. Angie and I are following The original Biggest Loser DVD, but feel free to use any you have on hand; Jillian's 30 Day Shred, Chalean or you can do any exercise you like, DVD, walk, bike ride, swim or gym.
You must check in to the check in thread each day to get checked off and your progress charted.
If you miss a day you can make it up on Sunday, you just have to let Cheri know you did it so she can make sure your chart is correct.
Feel free to moan and groan..we all do..LOL

PS..it is a good idea to weigh and measure yourself before you start so you can see your own progress. There is no need to share this with the group, it's just for your own benefit. It is always encouraging to see progress."

PPS (from Cheri) ChaLEAN Extreme (and others with the same instructor) is a DVD series from Beachbody, so you won't find that at stores like Target. We encourage you to find the "right" form of exercise for you! :)

Ooooh...taking things up to the next level!!

I think I'm just going to stick with TurboJam for another month (or two or three) until I figure out these silly routines and can work through them without floundering around my bedroom.

Oh I flounder...especially the first time through. My plan is walk/Turbo Jam in the AM then Chalean when the boys come home. Now that they have trimmed down, they want to develop more muscle (noting crazy) So they will start with 2lb weights, then work their way up to 5 maybe 8 at their highest.

Just for future reference Tiza, Chalean doesn't require as much coordination:) (I feel very uncoordinated when I do the Turbo Jam Fat Blaster, the only one I have from that series)

Hey I'm not sure if anyone would be interested, but that blog contest I was recently a part of is starting up a sixth season of the weight loss challenge starting October 3rd and they started taking applications for contestants today. It was a cool experience for me and I won a few cool prizes (ALL contestants win at least one prize for their participation) so if anyone is interested, here is the link to the blog and application :)

They've asked me to be a permanent contributor to the blog but I'm not sure if I have any sway as far as contestant selection goes, but I'd sure root for any of you who might be interested in the contest!!
