Oh me oh my! Do I detect NEW shredder buttons?!?!?! PRETTY! Love the turquoise Brandy, especially next to the purply-pinky SG buttons! Thanks! (Hint: hit your refresh button if you don't see the turquoise button).

Also meant to say, I love your new Avatar pic Brandy...very classy and beautiful!

Lei, the easiest way I know is to right click on someone else's (eg. mine) and "save image location". Then go into your signature and type (without the space), then control/V to paste in the location you saved, then (without the space)

Thank you! I am starting to feel pretty thanks to you girls.
We needed a new button, starting fresh with a new season. I know you can't see the text because it is small but it is the words that SHRED stand for:
Support Health Responsibility Enthusiasm & Determination (that spells our little ole group)

Oh, Brandy, beautiful buttons, and I love the meaning applied to it!! It truly makes me pumped up to be more responsible, enthusiastic and determined this time!! This is going to be the month I get it done, and Tiza, you are an inspiration to me with what you said about struggling at first, and now, even though you may not love it, you still get it done!

Woohoo! I inspired someone! :) Believe me, I've been there not too long ago. And I'm finally getting into the right mindset and starting to see some results. During one of my morning walks I gave myself a pep talk and told myself that nobody can do this for me, I need to do it for myself, and I WILL do it. And I keep reminding myself of that each time I dread pressing the play button on my DVD player. Hang in there!

I'm in! I need some accountability! I'll be doing the DVD 30 day shred...once a long time ago I got to level 3, but fell out of the habit and need to make it part of my routine again...not sure WHEN I'll do it...might have to be with an alarm at 5:30AM...:-( But I always feel better once I get up and get doing it.

I'm not the greatest at posting and replying, but I do read many of the posts, and I love following your posts, good and bad. The bad makes me relate to you because I go through it, and the good gives me hope because you have overcome a lot of the bad.

I was thinking about when you experience the big frustration/angry times when you work out may be due to the fact that you aren't into that particular fitness routine, whether it is a particular DVD or the exercise bike. There are so many different ways to exercise, maybe you just need to find the best fit for you. I think this because I have done some DVD's that leave me so incredibly irritated!!
:exercisebike::grr:

It's no longer a matter of WILL you do it--you ARE doing it!!

Well, I have new inspiration for this. I had a doctors appointment today. Looks like the D word. . . diabetes. I am getting tested for it. I hope I don't have it. I was put on a 1600 calorie/day diet! Uggg.....

Laura, do not despair. I have type 2 diabetes and so do a number of other Scrap Girls. It is not the end of the world, believe me. Ask for a referral to a diabetes educator if at all possible. Learning about how carbohydrates affect your body is a real eye-opener for food choices. And if you're diabetic or prediabetic, exercise is probably the best thing you can do for yourself - it makes your cells less insulin resistant, which means the good stuff goes into your cells instead of floating around in your bloodstream, causing havoc. Let us know - and we're here to cheer you on!

Brandy, you have always, always been beautiful, inside and out. Sometimes it's hard to feel good about ourselves when we don't meet society's definition of it, though. I'm glad you are beginning to feel as beautiful as you are.
hugs,

I'm in! DH and I set an alarm yesterday and did 20 min and dragged ourselves out of bed this morning for another 20 min. Yesterday I took my before pictures and started a journal uses the fabulous new kits in the store (thanks Angie and Brandy) and I set me some goals to work towards. I am looking forward/dreading this journey, but my jeans are too tight and I don't want to buy a bigger size.

Dh tried out his sisters Wii Fit while visiting over in London last week and he liked it...think that will be our family Chanukah pressie later this year...then I can use it for my exercising too.

thanks Cheri for doing this, you are a star

Aww thanks Gayle. I know what you mean, but it definitely is tough. I am always the one behind the camera. BUT! I will get where I am comfortable. I think for my final treat for reaching my goal will be to have the twin's photographer @ Two Chics take some nice pictures of me and the babies too. I just hope I can get there before they are able to drive to the photoshoot! LOL

Those twins seem to be growing at twice the normal speed of time.

And how much fun would it be to have a giant Shredders group photo shoot ;)

Ooooh, now let's pick a fun location for THAT! I have travel on the brain; let's all go to The Netherlands to be photographed there. Jeroen could do it, right? :)
Come on everyone, pack up and our last exercise session (before the photo) will be dragging our wheeled luggage through the airports. LOL!

That would be ALOT of fun!! Hey - I have an idea! If we can't actually all get together maybe we can find someone who knows Photoshop and we could photoshop us all together.

I"m looking forward to this next session. In the last week I have seriously fallen off the wagon. Can you believe I missed the very last day of the last month after not missing a day (or a makeup) for 2 months? And this week I just can't seem to get it together. It shows me just how important consistency and momentum really is. I broke my stride just a little bit and I now I'm having a really hard time getting going again.

I've noticed in just these last few days that I haven't had my walk that I can really feel that I'm not doing my exercise, which in itself should get me going. I think I"m going to just stop beating myself up over it, take the remainder few days just off from walking, and start strong again on Monday.

PS - Brandy, I really love the new button, and the acronym is very inspiring!
Cheri, thanks for taking on the chart for the next month.
