Melissa13
Does anyone know what the difference is between Baseline Standard and Baseline Optimized when you save a file in PSE? Which one should you use?
PBarnes
Here's what I found browsing the Internet: Baseline (“Standard”) Uses a format that is recognizable to most web browsers. Baseline Optimized Optimizes the color quality of the image and produces a slightly smaller file size. This option is not supported by all web browsers. If you are not saving for the web, I guess you might want to use the Optimized option. I've never tried using it. I've always just left my set on Standard. lorac
Interesting info Pat. I use Baseline Standard as that is what I was told to use. And I always follow orders/suggestions. LOL
Belle
Thanks for explaining Pat. I also do the standard but did wonder what the other was for.
tiza126
I just left mine at the default setting (standard) and left it alone.
