First Couple Of Layouts

I've created my first couple of layouts, but i'm not sure how happy i am with them. i could really use some input.

Its taking a while, but I'm slowly getting the hang of things ... slowly, haha.
I'm currently working on pages from my trip to Spain back in 2004, and I was thinking there will be enough for a whole album, so I wanted consistency with the album, rather than totally matching the pictures. Not sure if this is a good idea or not. Thanks for any advice!
