I thought this blog post I ran across this morning was excellent, so I wanted to share! http://kikicreates.blogspot.com/2011/09/achieving-catchlights-photography.html It's about catchlight, which are highlights in the subject's eyes. It totally brings the photos to life and makes them look great! You don't need any special equipment, it just talks about how to position your subject to utilize natural light.
