Due Date Today...and Still Pregnant!

Well today was my due date...and my birthday...! I was hoping for a birthday present but no such luck. I am exactly the same as 3 weeks ago; 1 centemeter dialated..and very frustrated. I am just wondering if anyone else is in the same boat?

Aw, happy birthday sweetie!

Advice? Be patient. I know you are probably SO done with being pregnant and want to meet your little one, but don't rush it. Your body (and baby) will tell you when he/she are ready. It's called *Estimated* Due Date for a reason. You can go up to 43 weeks and that's still normal. I don't know if you're shooting for a natural drug free birth or not... but even not knowing you in person, I know that you can do it!!!

I am with Andrea, so hard to be patient but they usually come when they are ready and not until, enjoy your quiet until then! Soon you will be posting all about the arrival!

Hang in there Miranda. I know what you are going through. I went THREE weeks late with my first and two with my second - and I know the exact date of both of the conceptions so it wasn't a matter of miscalculating. LOL

I pray it happens soon for you and oh - Happy Birthday!!

Happy Birthday! And Congratulations!! I was only 2 days late with my first (and induced early with the second), but I remember how bad I wanted to get the birth over with and hold my baby. Hang in there and let us know when the big day does arrive!

funny how babies insist on their own birthday! Happy birthday to you! The Lord will bless you with your baby to hold soon! I know every day is very long, but there is something sweet about the waiting even in the tears--you are waiting for the miracle and it will happen!

Hang in there, Miranda! I so remember those last days of pregnancy when I thought it would NEVER happen! I'll be thinking about you.

I walked, I tried to touch my toes, I did everything I could think of to give little reminders to those little babes of mine that it was time to meet each other and no matter what I did, they all came when they wanted to!

Happy Birthday. My brother was a two-days-late birthday present for my mother. It really was easier having the birthdays on different days. I'm one of those who had a hard time making it to 37 weeks, so I can't commiserate with you there. Hang in there!

I went walking around 3 different stores with my mom the day before I had my son, not sure if that's what made him decide to come out but it never hurts to try!
