Thanks!
I searched video workouts on Amazon the other day and saw some chair workouts. Don't remember specifics, but looked pretty good. I ordered Jillian's Shred workout on the recommendation of a friend here at our conference. She's 17 week pregnant and running the Nike Women's Marathon Sunday morning, only doing the half though. She said she got very quick results when she first started training.

Thanks, Sandi! I have several Therabands from physical therapy, and there ought to be some good things I can do with those and small hand weights.

Lei - you must take care of yourself! Maybe your body is telling you that you need to rest. Holding good thoughts you will feel better right away!

On the way home I felt guilty, and when I got back they hadn't left yet. I looked at Justin and asked him if he really wanted me to go and he said yes, so I went. I made it around the whole thing this time, with no stops. It took us about 35min so we were moving at a pretty good pace. Of course my legs are killing me now...and my bike is really not the type for this type of riding. It's more of a cruiser bike, and I really need a good one for that location. But I made it..yeah!!

Carla-if you remember...my first shredding months were strictly walking...that's all I could do with my back issues!! It is something you have to listen to, and I think maybe I learned the hard way...

But after this little break, I'm going to be getting right back into good habits tomorrow when the chart starts back again.

Angie, WTG!
Tiza, I've taken several days off because the week was busy. Ready to start fresh tomorrow!
This morning at church I was asked by a friend if I had lost weight. Happy Dance time!
Ready for the next round tomorrow!

Ooo! Ooo, I do, Gayle. When I had foot surgery, I was on crutches for six weeks. Crutches and I didn't get along very well so I spent a lot of time in my recliner. I was concerned about putting on weight so I got a couple of "chair aerobics" DVDs (or they might have been video tapes.) They were really good work outs. I actually was able to lose some weight during my convalescence both from the exercise and the fact that I wasn't getting up to get snacks all the time.
Why kind of surgery are you going to have?

WB to those of you who sat out a month or more, welcome to the "healthy side" (lol...you know how we refer to digital scrapbooking as the "dark side" when someone converts from paper scrapping...) for those joining us for the first time, and wahoo for all you die-hards who are in every month of this shredder challenge!

Take it slow and feel better, Lei! You don't want to relapse! I'm such an early bird. Have to get it out of my way. Rest today.
