Do you remember that I hurt the back of my foot when I was in Arizona? I finally got into the doctor on Friday afternoon.
The good news: It isn't broken.

The bad news: It is my ligament. I have to wear this boot for 3 weeks.
The hopeful news: If the boot helps me, then I'll just need a couple of weeks of rehab.
The not-so-hopeful news: If the boot doesn't help me, I will need an MRI to see if the ligament is torn. If it is torn, I have to have surgery.
Hoping it is not torn.
I was so bummed out that I couldn't get myself to do anything much. It took forever just to walk out to the mail box and back. Yesterday, I was bummed again.
Today, I got up and went to the gym. The doctor told me that I could do the elliptical or the bike. I couldn't get the elliptical to work because I am too lopsided, so I did the bike. I was slow, but I did it. My trainer taught me how to do some weights with my arms to get a better workout in the future. We still worked out today - working on arms, core and upper legs.
So 15 minutes on the bike and 40 minutes floor exercises and weights. I am so bummed that I messed up my perfect record on Saturday.
Wednesday I have my shoulder surgery. Cross your fingers and say a prayer for me that it is just a bone spur!
