I haven't had any yet. Unless you count the lemon drop I sucked on because my throat was bothering me. (I really hope I'm not getting sick!!) I'll probably have a piece of dark chocolate tonight after dinner.

Not feeling so good today but I did my half hour bike ride this morning - just forgot to post for some reason.

UGH!! Just found out my doctor wants me to go to an ortho specialist for my elbow/shoulder. I was up there today and talked to a nurse there, asked her how long it should take to heal and told her it was still bugging me (couldn't sleep last night because of it) So I just got a call back they wanted me to go and see someone else, so I take it I should of started healing by now. Does that mean I can lift weights until the...I mean the damage is already done.

Oh, and no Halloween candy here. Didn't even buy any to pass out, we never have any kids here so the boys are going to my mom's house to pass out treats.

Do you remember that I hurt the back of my foot when I was in Arizona? I finally got into the doctor on Friday afternoon.

The good news: It isn't broken.

The bad news: It is my ligament. I have to wear this boot for 3 weeks.

The hopeful news: If the boot helps me, then I'll just need a couple of weeks of rehab.

The not-so-hopeful news: If the boot doesn't help me, I will need an MRI to see if the ligament is torn. If it is torn, I have to have surgery.

Hoping it is not torn.

I was so bummed out that I couldn't get myself to do anything much. It took forever just to walk out to the mail box and back. Yesterday, I was bummed again.

Today, I got up and went to the gym. The doctor told me that I could do the elliptical or the bike. I couldn't get the elliptical to work because I am too lopsided, so I did the bike. I was slow, but I did it. My trainer taught me how to do some weights with my arms to get a better workout in the future. We still worked out today - working on arms, core and upper legs.

So 15 minutes on the bike and 40 minutes floor exercises and weights. I am so bummed that I messed up my perfect record on Saturday.

Oh well.

Wednesday I have my shoulder surgery. Cross your fingers and say a prayer for me that it is just a bone spur!

Just did a 10 minute walk. Knee hurts so kept it short. I have a 4 month old knee injury from falling into the basement window well in June!

I have been terrible since the in laws have been here (the dog went to the kennel for a few days), but managed to get in a 20 minute walk this evening.

One Tootsie Roll so far, but the ice cream is calling my name.

Well...I have no kids in the house. I don't get trick or treaters coming to the apartment. So I had no reason to even buy candy and bring it into my house. That's what is saving me.

Me too! I desperately want some candy today but I didn't buy any so there is no temptation. No trick or treaters come here! I am being good. Every night I have been allowing myself some sort of treat after dinner and my weight loss has stalled so today no treat. It is always the hardest the first day to break the habit but tomorrow it will be easier.

Ro, you cracked me up. If I had candy I'd be going crazy in it, thank goodness I have none! I am feeling weak for sweets today.

workout today (tuesday) P90X Chest and Back (52 mins): Honest effort. :)

Well...GOOD NEWS...I didnt eat but two pieces (small) candy! Even though it was halloween and we had lots in the house! -- BAD NEWS...I didnt really get out and walk or exercise today. Tomorrow hope to improve on that!

Hang in there Ro; I hope for so many reasons that you are back 100% soon - you've been doing so very well with building up your strength, losing weight, and feeling great about yourself. It would be a shame if you lost ground due to injuries. I'm praying these are just minor setbacks in your fitness and confidence quest!

I did half hour on the exercise bike after the trick-or-treaters stopped.

Well, I had a bad night last night for lots of reasons but did sleep in a bit this morning which is rare for me. Got my bike ride in this morning although my heart certainly wasn't in it.

NO CANDY at all here! I was sooooo good!
