Tuesday 10/18 done! 31 minutes Project you foundation...hardly had to modify any moves or slow down today. I seem to have a little coordination challenge with some of the kickboxing moves, but got a lot more of them today than before. Logged it in myfitnesspal app. Loving that for tracking calories and activity and getting updates from friends. My goal is 50 minutes exercise/day. 6 days/week. Will try for a walk this afternoon as well as my evening Qi Gung. That will take me way over 50 minutes...Hope to start seeing the results soon, but feeling stronger and more energetic everyday.

Tuesday - October 18. My grandmother's birthday (she passed away in 1976. Miss her!)

20 minutes on the treadmill. Nothing special, but it's done!

Ok I feel like I'm reporting to the sick club rather than the health club - and I'm so mad I got this virus. Today I was blessed to get into an ENT as a new patient. I have had persistant nose bleeds even before this virus came along. The dr said I definately had an infection and gave me a script to start. She also said I have several vessels in the nose causing issue so she cauterized them ... I have been given instructions not to lift or bend for 5 days! Also can't clear throat, blow nose, drink anything hot or cold ... (*looking for the crybaby emoticon) I'm going to have a huge hole on my chart if I have to wait 5 DAYS!... wish visually exercising in the mind worked on the body!! I'll cheer you gals on and as soon as able I'll join you!! I took the rest of the day off work and hoping to get some quality nap time in while it is quiet here. Also sipping on luke warm soup since I missed lunch.

Lei, I hope you feel better soon!

Tuesday done. I subbed for a teacher who had last hour as prep period so I left school early and stopped at the Y for 30 minutes of elliptical intervals. I even beat the school bus home. Now I can work on laundry and dinner...

Feel better very soon, Lei! And, so you don't have holes all over the chart, just put your legs out in front of you and wiggle your toes for 20 minutes - it's kind of amazing that you can actually feel wiggling toes working all up and down your legs! :) ;) Just a thought!

Keep sipping that warm soup - I'm so sorry you're having to go through this! It's just downright not fun!

Plyometrics done for Tuesday, plus the usual 2 mile bike ride to pick up my kindergartner. He finally figured out how to start up his own bike (previously we still had to give him a push), but it's been so windy I'm still pulling him in the trailer.

As I was typing my weigh-in results, I almost posted that I couldn't workout tonight because my ankle was bothering me. But then I decided to at least try to ride the bike. I wrapped an Ace bandage around my ankle, put on my good shoes, and rode nice and slow while I watched Biggest Loser. The first few minutes were tricky, but then I found a foot position that worked. Slowly I built up the tension level and my speed. By the end of 30 minutes, I was going 10mph at level 6 tension (out of 8). Not bad for a twisted ankle :) I think watching the BL contestants push their limits in the gym with their aches and pains made me more motivated to keep going.

So...Tuesday done!!

Got in a very strenuous 65 minutes of hiking on the dunes...that's a workout! But it was great to be out there today...it was like summer again.

I love it! Haven't done it in a while. I had a meeting tonight, so I picked up a Chopped Salad with Tuna at the food court on the way out. As we were walking (she needed a jersey for Spirit Day tomorrow) I made her walk down the opposite side from where the store was, and all the way to the end before turning around and coming back. *g*

Good for you Theresa, working around the sore ankle - and a big pat on the back for the additional weight loss. You're doing great!
Sarah: That sounds like a big fun walk in the arboretum.
Sandi: The book I'm reading has seals in it - so I was thinking of you and Sealia earlier this evening:) Hm...I'd love to take a walk on a beach sometime soon. Need to bug DH about spring break maybe;)

Sheri, you crazy woman, are you doing DOUBLES?!?! WTG:)
I thought Phase 2 of P90X WAS doubles, until I realized I was reading off the wrong page for P90X. I was relieved, b/c I don't know how I could stuff another 45-60 minute workout in my life right now.
Hm...insane abs huh? Yikes, lol!

Tuesday 10/18 was a big workout day for me. Unintentional though LOL. I went to my 1 hr hula class and then my friend dropped me off at home only to realize I hadn't taken my keys with me and my hubby was gone with the kids. Well you can't very well just sit down on the driveway and wait here. The B-52 Bomber cockroaches come out after dark here, so you don't sit around waiting for them. You have to keep moving LOL. So I walked around my neighborhood three and a half times while I waited for my family to get home LOL. That equaled a little over a mile and a half of walking and a bonus 30 minutes of exercise :) Hehehe.

Very interesting exercise program you've got there Ang. I remember those roaches....sort of like small animals. Well, you got a great workout anyway.
