I'm stuck! I've got my layout to the point of adding elements (like flowers, etc.) and when I try to put them on my layout, there's a "box" but nothing shows up. What am I doing wrong??? I'm using the cool Halloween Kit by Brandy Murry.

I'm just a beginner and I'm probably doing (or not doing) something totally goofy. :hit-head-with-hammer:

It could be because they are being dragged onto the wrong layer - therefore you see the box, but the element is on another layer. Be sure that you have the top, or necessary layer selected in the layers palette, then try again. HTHs :-0)

Yes, check your layers palette on the right. If the embellishment is not on top of the paper, you won't see it. Just drag that layer (in the palette) to the top. Sometimes you have to do that in increments.

It's hard to keep all of the layers straight. I'm sure it gets easier.

I'm happy that it got worked out for you and yes it gets easier. The next time that it happens, you'll know why and be able to fix it quickly. Have a scrappin' good day! :-)

Here's my layout, using Brandy Murry's Hallows Eve Collection. Bootiful {Asher}

I'd LOVE your feedback and comments and also how did I get 2 identical images in there and how do I delete one of them?

It's hard to believe that it's your first layout. Awesome! I didn't see a double image, so you must have fixed it or it's hidden somewhere. If it's just stacked in your psd file and you saved a psd file, then you can delete the duplicate from the file. If I've misunderstood your question, please ask again, with a little more info. I do think that your layout looks great! Have a scrappin good day. :-)

Oh wow thank you SO much!! I think the problem got fixed - thanks to all of you! I did save a PSD file, as well as a JPEG file.

You're welcome and I'm glad it got fixed! I always save the psds too - you never know if you'll want to change something by the time you print it - especially typos! lol :-)
