Scraplifting can be a huge source of inspiration to you and your layouts, and it's a lot of fun for the person who inspired you. Come and join in the fun we will be having! So, what is scraplifting? Scraplifting is when you use a specific layout to inspire you. You can follow the entire layout or you can take one thing (like the text, positioning of elements, colors, number of photos, etc) and lift just that part. Is scraplifting bad? No! BUT you must remember to give the other layout or designer credit.The best way to do that here at Scrap Girls is to add a link to their layout in the area where you list your products used, and to say who they are. Also you should NOT submit your layout for publication without first receiving permission from the original designer. Today we've got a list of SEVEN (yes, 7) amazing designers to choose from for your "LIFT". Good luck choosing just one gorgeous LO to use as an inspiration - lol! Meet us in the Chat Room and we'll find out who the SUPER-DE-DOOPER designers are! Those who post LOs in our gallery are eligible to win a prize!!! This is a scraplift from Cheri T, Beautiful Iris: I saw Cheri's layout and thought of the beautiful posters I'd seen on Cape Cod with all the hydrangeas. This has a little bit of those posters, too.
