I recently found this really cool couple to help out with my homemaking blog -How Mom Did It. They just posted the neatest blog post about how to recycle your Halloween pumpking, that I just had to show it to you! We have a ton of pumpkins on our porch right now (everybody wanted to have one of their own) and I'm going to do this. We love pumpkin pie... pumpkin bread... pumpkin cookies... pumpkin muffins.

The possibility are endless! (And it will save me a fortune over buying all of those cans of pumpkin, as I usually do.)

You can see it here

This is wonderful Ro. I know there's also a way to microwave the pumpkin pieces..
Sadly, my pumpkin only lasted a week (uncarved) before it started growing fuzz on top. :(
Lots of pumpkins in the East here didn't grow well because of weather conditions...

That is so cool, Ro - thanks for sharing that - it's kind of like cooking acorn squash (kinda-sorta) - think I will give your method a try this year!

Loved your blog post Ro! (And the last one too) I've done the pumpkin thing before, but not since I got a food processor. I like smooth pumpkin. I'll have to try it again. :)

My Gallery I scrap with Photoshop CS6, but can help with older versions: PS7, CS2 & CS4.
