That is a link to my first ever digital page. I know it needs something through the middle and I'm not sure what to do about titling since I doubt I could match that font. Please give opinions? Thank you!

Very nice! I like the way you've used the circle with the rectangular photos--very effective. I am absolutely no design expert, but I think you could do with a nice title or journal block anchored to the lower right photo, above the ribbon. You might check out some of the great word art available here, or make your own with fonts or alphabets. IMHO, I like mixed fonts. Mixing a serif and a san-serif font works well. A boxy print combined with a nice script font would be very pretty with your twirly ribbon.

I'm playing with fonts in Photoshop and I've got it on 36pts and it still seems small... makes me wonder if I've made the other items too big?

For a scrap LO, 36 pts isn't large at all. When looking at the LO in Photoshop, we forget that it's usually zoomed way out so that we can see the entire page easily. While 36 pts would be huge on a Word document, it's not on a LO. I'm working on a new one myself, and for the title I've set the font size to 120!

On a page, I usually do 10-14 for journal size fonts, but if it is a title...it can be anywhere from 48 to 100!!

I think your layout is great!! Jaymee's suggestion for title/journaling anchored by the bottom photo is perfect!

I changed it around a bit. I guess that's one of the perks of Digital scrapping. I changed the frames entirely and added brads. I'm getting ready to "ink" the edges of the frames with inner glow function. I'll re-upload in a bit. Thanks for the input

Wow, thanks! I just posted my second matching page in the gallery. The next thing I want to learn is how to make my photo edges pretty. I've seen it a lot in the gallery. I just don't know how!

Hi, I'm not sure exactly what you mean by making the photo edges pretty. Could you maybe post a link to a layout or give us some specific information about a layout which you are referring to? (Which specific gallery it's in, the name of the member who posted it, the title of the layout) If we can see what you mean, we might be able to help you out.

Awesome! I'm another newbie who just finished my first LO and it is such a sense of accomplishment, isn't it? Your colors are beautiful and I love the addition of the brads/circles to the second one.
