45 min of zumba and sculpt.
For some reason I am not getting my notifications of this thread, I have checked my spam box in case I accidentally spammed it, but nothing. Any ideas?
T..funny about your neighbor. I kinda felt bad for mine, but their kids are so loud at night, Jeroen calls my workouts "payback".

I did an hour on the elliptical, plus I did a lot of walking during the day.

Can I count the Fit Test as my workout for tonight? Otherwise, I'll put in some time on the bike while I watch Biggest Loser.
Right now my stomach is GROWLING so I better go get dinner started....

No 4:30 am for me tomorrow! No school for the holiday, so I'll just delay my sweat a few hours! It feels so good to get back to my workouts...and I love having a support group to help keep the focus!
Whatever activity or program you are using....just shred it, babes!

I'm thinking about getting a recumbent bike. Anyone have any recommendations about good brands? budget up to about $600.

Sandi...we have a Key's we've had for probably 11 years, had it before the boys were born and we lived in CA. It's a great bike. Our treadmill is a Sole and that's the brand we went with for our elliptical also. Hope that helps some

You can do it Belle! I remember last year when I started, between walking downstairs to the treadmill, walking 1/2 mile and back up the stairs I thought I was going to die. Really..you would of thought I had just ran a 26mile marathon as out of breath and sweaty I was. Now I look back and can smile at that..you can do it! Just take baby steps...it will come and you'll find yourself going farther and farther

(Yes I know this was discussed in last month's Shred thread, but I didn't want to search through all the posts)
I figure I might get lucky and find some awesome Black Friday / Cyber Monday deals on exercise equipment... but there are several brands and styles out there, so I don't know what would be best.

I hope to get to the Y tonight...but I have a few other commitments too. If I do make it, I'll post it and use it to make up for yesterday--no time for a workout!

I really like my Power Blocks. I think they have a newer model out now. Mine cost around $130 and are 6-24 pounds each. There are a few exercises in Chalene that I needed more weight for at the end of the 3 months. I compromised by stacking my 5 pound weight on top of the 24 pound one (kind of on top of my hand) to do the squats (the main one I needed more weight for). Side note: The expensive Select Techs that Chalene uses are frowned on by a large part of the serious weight-lifting community. I went to two different sports stores in person to discuss nested weights and was told by 2 or 3 muscular guys that those weights are not constructed well. That plus the price put me way off of purchasing those. Also that they go up to 50 pounds each, which didn't sound necessary for me:) If I want to lift 50 pounds I'll lift my 8 year old;)
Yesterday was a no go for me. I was feeling a bit off during William's naptime, which is my exercise time. I was better by later afternoon but then I have 3 boys at home and it just wasn't going to happen.

There are lots of squats in CE, so you'll definitely need heavier weights if you want to work on your leg muscles. Or use resistance bands for squats maybe...they work well too and are less expensive.

Yay, it came!!! Fit test counts, those can be hard. I remember when I did the Insanity Fit Test and I was thinking, "Let's hope the workouts aren't much harder than that!" LOL
Tuesday - We did Turbo Jam (one of the Cardio Parties) at 208 Fit Club last night, it was a total blast with everyone cheering and whooping. I sweated like crazy and I forgot my water. My mom (Joanne) was there too!
I just ate lunch so I'll have to do my workout when this settles. Getting close to feast day y'all! I have so much to be thankful for, especially this group and you wonderful ladies who are so supportive & caring. *HUGS
