Question For You All would you be interested...

I know there's a pretty loyal following on the 30 day shred string..and i'm so happy about that. And I know many of us are really just starting to get in your "groove" and some have been doing it for awhile.

The one thing I really wished I had done is take photos each month of my progress. Actually Gary just asked me the other day why I didn't and my truthful answer was "I wasn't sure how long I would stick with it" Then when I figured out I was sticking with it..other things pushed that thought out of my mind. I think honestly I was afraid to say outloud that I was going to commit to it, just in case (like every other time) I gave up.

With that in mind..I was thinking what if we had a monthly challenge or journaling starter to scrap? Some of my favorite pages were the ones I did when I did the A New Me kit..because they were those memories I wanted to put down. I know we are all busy, and doing it more then once a month might be a little hard. But I thought if each month I posted a topic, let's say "scrap about your favorite jeans you used to wear that no longer fit" then we could post a link to it in your gallery for us all to see.

Of course you could do as many layouts as you'd like..but this would be just a little monthly challenge. So what do you think, would you be interested?

I think I would be! Maybe it would be a better motivator for me. I've been so far off the wagon, but luckily haven't gained back but about three pounds.

Count me in. Conda and I talked about this early on. I actually started a 4x6 album with "THE" picture. LOL. That picture is priceless now that it got three of us moving. And there's lots of journaling fodder from all our posts and the emails we've been sending back and forth. Sounds like it would help us keep on track. Great idea Angie.

Yes, I would! For 2 months I did one, but knowing the surgery was coming up this month, I didn't bother. But it would help keep me focused.

That's a really good idea and I would be for it. My weight loss is slow and at two months in, I don't think I see any visible results yet, but scrapping about how things are going would probably be helpful in keeping me focused.

Love the idea. I lost the first 8-10 lbs. in late summer (it varies whether it is 8, 9, or 10 lbs. that I lost...) and I'd like to kick it in gear again. This would probably help!

After falling off the shredder wagon, I need to get back on again. I stopped because of my back, and quickly gained a bunch of weight. I'm having some minor surgery at the end of the month, but should be able to jump back in fairly quickly after that.

I think it's a great idea. Maybe progress will be slow - or non-existent - from time to time, but that's all part of the journey and having support in it will be very helpful. It's great to have cheerleaders and people that "get it" because this can be the challenge of a lifetime.

I'm in even though making public commitments of this type are scary for me!
