Help
Well here goes.... yes I am expecting! We are very excited, waited a long time and decided that it was now or never. So I am 12 weeks along, we are due in June (24th). We got to hear the heartbeat yesterday, we recorded it to share with Sawyer, he is very excited. I will have to have additional testing and see a specialist because at 35 they consider me Advanced Maternal Age ( Nice way to say OLD), which I don't feel old but I won't argue with the numbers I guess. So if everyone could hold my family in their thoughts and prayers I would truly appreciate it.
Guess What?: Update Today ! yup it's true, Sawyer won't be an "only" anymore!

I am SOOOOO happy for you! Now, you just have to name this one Owen. My #2 grandson is Sawyer and his younger brother is Owen. It should work for either a boy or girl! Happy pregnancy!

Congratulations Shannon!!! I had both of my kids after age 35 - and everything went just fine. Don't let the numbers worry you at all.

Oh, Shannon!!! I am so happy for you!! I had my youngest at age 36. She and I both did fine--perfectly normal in a normally crazy kind of way. Congrats!

That is soooo exciting Shannon!!!! I was 34 with my last baby (he's 11 now) and I remember when my doctor told me I was considered a 'high risk pregnancy' because of my age. I argued with her saying I wasn't 35 yet, she told me it didn't matter it was how old I would be when he was born! It didn't matter that I had only been 35 for a couple of months when he was born - I remember feeling so offended by it but I now chock that up to pregnancy hormones! LOL
