WOO HOO! What FABULOUS news! Oh, how I remember the AMA (Advanced Maternal Age) phrase! During one visit we had with a partner of our primary OB he literally said the phrase 8 times (it's only a 10 minute visit). I finally not so tactfully said that we (DH was with me) understood fully that I was in the 35 yo and over category, and I'd appreciate if he'd stop saying it. He wasn't the most tactful guy to start with.

Anyway, I'm SO excited for you. May you all enjoy this special time in your family's life. Praying for you all.

my boy is 11 today and I realised I was 31 when I had him and dh was 36... so you are amazing to do this at 35.

Congratulations! That is wonderful! I wasn't fond of the Advanced Maternal Age moniker either. I was "old" for both of mine. I look at it as my kids keep me young.
