I'll bet Sawyer is excited he's going to have a little sister. Maybe you could name her Sadie!
Sadie and Sawyer! I've always loved the name Sadie - I'm named for my maternal grandmother whose name was Sadie and Sara is from Sadie - my granddaughter is also named Sara after me and I call her Sadie Sue all the time for some reason.
I'm so excited for you!

What wonderful news, Shannon. I know you would have been happy either way, but it's so fun to have a girl.

I just now saw this so belated congrats in the first place & another one for your little princess!
I think you should shop for red. It's pink enough & makes a statement!
LOL - ok, ok, if you really must, shop for pink (says the mom that made sure baby shower invites said "please no pink").

Jenna, we definitely let friends and family that despite having twin girls, we were NOT wanting pink. People were nigh unto horrified! It worked pretty well though.
Shannon, not only can you now shop for pink (if you want to), you can SCRAP in pink!!!
So excited for you!

Wonderful news Shannon! Our little afterthought (with two boys, 15 and 8 at the time) was a girl and it's been wonderful! Different, but wonderful. *g*

Ok, so I'm really late in congratulations. I've never looked in this thread because I don't fit the title at all -- LOL. For some reason today I did. I knew you were expecting a little girl. When I was carrying Jenny, my oldest girl & before they did ultrasounds unless you were having complications, I went to visit my grandmother for the last time her final words to me were "You know you're going to have another boy." She had 3 boys & all of her boys had boys except for me. I know she didn't want me to get my hopes up. And when Jenny was born I so wished she had lived to see her great granddaughter. Since then all of her decendants have been girls in that generation. Guess I started a trend
Enjoy the pink & I'm praying that all goes well for you both!
