October already? Ok, where has the time gone?

Time for a NEW gallery contest!

In honor of ScrapGirls' second anniversary, we are celebrating YOU our members! This month, we want to learn more about you. Show us a layout which showcases your home, or your home town...we want to know about your city or state, or even the country in which you reside! Tell us what you like or what you don't like, or both. Your layout will be judged by our panel of esteemed judges, and at the end of the month, someone will be eligilble to win a $10 gift certificate to the boutique!

Have fun! Post your layout here!

Since moving to Canada, I've an idea for living in Canada vs. living n the US layout. This gives me some motivation to get started! I hope it will still count, since it's not exactly going to be a "what I love..." layout.

Well I know one of the first rules of digi scrapping is save, and save often. But in my enthusiasm to complete the LO for this contest, I forgot to do that even once. :banghead:

So I hope you enjoy my LO North Shore because I had the pleasure of making it - twice!

Here is my entry for the Layout Contest all about my hometown of Denton Texas. I had fun learning to use the new Printer Drawer template. But I am going to be online tonight for the class!

I hope you all like it:

Here is my layout for the contest:

Finding Home in a Foreign Land

I originally intened to do the layout on a differnt topic (see my other post), but I just could not get inspiration! Then I thought of making a "newspaper article" and I thought it was a cute idea, but the LO still did not turn out like what I had in mind. Anyway, let me know what you think...

Thanks. Good job to everyone who has posted their LO so far. There are so many great LOs in there!

I finally had a chance to do a layout for the October Gallery Contest:

http://scrapgirls.com.ipbhost.com/index.ph...i&img=13503

It's been fun looking at all the places posted. What a fun contest!

Ok, here is mine. I don't know what was more fun, making the layout or sightseeing with my family. We really enjoyed it. My dh usually doesn't care about this kind of thing, but he was really enjoying it, too.

I did it for you Ngaire! Next time, just open another browser, find your layout, copy the address in address bar of your browser, and paste it into your post. You can rename it by clicking the earth with the chain icon above your edit box, pasting in your address and then clicking OK. You will then be prompted to give your link a name!
