In years past, I've always made a calendar for all of the grandparents, my great aunt, etc. But my sister-in-law wanted to make it this year, which leaves me at a sort of stand-still for gifts. I'd like to make something homemade, something that family will love, something that will be special. Digital, hybrid, whatever. What are you making this year? I need some inspiration!

Anna, how about little photo books or the exploding box?
Shannon and Carla also made scrapped pocket calendar covers in the last craft chat. (They also could be checkbook covers).
Or, maybe christmas ornaments? Stationary pads?

Some of the new Printable Art and Crafts or Printable Monograms could be used to make nice gifts: pillows, wall hangings, coasters, mugs, etc.

I plan to use those wonderful monograms on pillows and notecards (if my printer will behave, that is!).

Anna, recipe cards made into a little mini album would be great too! If there were some cookies to go with it...maybe something with chocolate in it?

I LOVE all your ideas! Thank you! Somehow I missed the Exploding Boxes. Those are so cute and would be fun to fill with smaller gifts.
And I have been loving all of the monogramed items - I think my mother-in-law would love some custom note cards. And since my husband LOVES to cook, we have a big, messy binder where he sticks all his recipes. I've been meaning to do something with it, but I bet he'd love it if I made coordinating dividers and organized it into a recipe book. I'm excited to get to work! Thanks for the suggestions!
