I had to smile while reading the newsletter today because just a couple of months ago my 4-year-old granddaughter arrived from California with an empty Pringles can. She'd told her mother she wanted to save it so I could help her decorate it. We'd done some paper crafting together before but this was entirely her idea and I was impressed that she thought of it. So I cut the paper she chose to size but she applied the glue and placed it all by herself before decorating it with a couple dozen stickers and some glitter. Oh, the concentration on her face as she worked away at it! Each sticker had to be placed in just the right location. Then she filled it with empty pistachio shells and called it her drum. Now she's asked for some stamps for Christmas and I am thrilled to think of all the fun times we'll have together!

Oh, too sweet! Isn't it amazing how early some of them show their talents? I remember when my niece was about 8 and we took her to a craft show. She picked something up and said that it was nice and if we just changed this & added that it would be perfect. Our jaws just dropped. Thanks for the reminder. Your grand daughter sounds very talented.

I'm sure she will, Brandy. The bond between aunts and nieces is magical.

Ahh, you're a great nana!
It really comes down to the simple things, doesn't it? The tutorial was a great one and I'm going to use the idea with my grandkids too!
