This is my first digital layout. I didn't use any cool techniques, just pre-fabbed elements. I was trying to get the hang of resizing things and arranging things and understanding how to layer things in the right order. These products are also freebies as I haven't really shopped yet but wanted to give it a try.

Thank you for all your comments and encouragement. It's my goal to learn something new with every new layout I do but I'm really liking this and was pretty pleased with how it came out. With that said, I'm trying to resist the urge to start it over again and add a few tricks...lol. You can't do that with paper. But if I start doing that I'll just do it with every layout as I go along and I don't want to open that can of worms.

that's a good philosophy!
Besides, there are too many other layouts calling your name to keep fussing over each one. Remember, this is supposed to be fun. I don't know about you, but my goal is to have pages of memories that make me smile, not create something that will be hanging in a museum.
And it will be nice for you to be able to watch your style evolve.
