Thanks, Melanie - no, it isn't any better - just didn't feel I could sit on the bike since after about ten minutes I tend to "hunch" over and I so needed to walk and work off some stress - it worked! Playing Santa did my back in this year I'm afraid - and the muscle relaxers doc gave me made me sooooooo sick to my stomach so just having to endure it! Groan! Time will heal!

15 years ago I gave my Rich a Saint Michael's medal to wear (Saint Michael is the one who watches over law enforcement) and I've bought a little infinity charm to go on the chain with the medal to show that our love is to infinity and I have to go and pick it up - it's my Christmas present to Rich. I'm sure I will find lots of things I want for myself while I''m there which will require carrying bags and walking back and forth to the car!

I'm still waiting for my stomach to settle before I attempt to exercise tonight. The schedule calls for Burn It Off & Recharge tonight. And I sure have plenty of calories to burn off.

Well, Tiza, it IS the holiday season and a party is a party and you were supposed to have fun! It's okay - you can burn it all off! I know what you mean about feeling kind of sick after eating all of the party food - I've convinced myself that if I eat it I know I will feel sick and it's the one thing that's saved me - Tonight, I put all of the cookies I had baked into pretty cookie tins to take to Charlotte and had about 4 or 5 cookies from each batch that wouldn't fit in them so I put them all on a plate and hand delivered them to Rich without even eating a single one - I'm afraid that one will lead to two and to three, etc. I do kind of miss enjoying all the Christmas goodies though and I know when I come back from Charlotte I will have to be honest and admit that i've eaten things I shouldn't . It doesn't help that my son is an awesome cook!

What is it about animals and "sweat", "glistening" "dewing" that attracts them so? When Rich comes home from the gym (and I know you're already saying ewwwwewwwwwwie!) he takes his sneakers off and Lucy runs to his bare feet to lick them - it's almost like she's been in withdrawal and oh, oh, oh, here's the drug - the sweat, the glisten, the dew - well, in Rich's case, let's call it pure sweat! Doesn't bother Rich but she is NOT licking my feet! It gives me the willies!
Do cats still have those rough tongues when they lick? My Siamese will lick my fingers if I give her the empty tuna can for just a quick minute and her tongue doesn't feel rough - I always thought when I was younger that cats had a rough tongue? ( I remember I thought our cat's tongue then felt like sandpaper)

Yes she has a sandpaper tongue. Think of it as a spa "exfoliation" treatment. When a cat grooms you, it's a sign of affection.

With my Hannah, it's probably a sign of affection and oh, thanks, Mom for the remmants of the tuna you left for me!

Maybe it's time for a professional massage for that knot, Tiza! My middle son had one the other day and I massaged his neck and shoulders for 30 minutes and it was as hard as a rock - finally got it relaxed a little bit and his tightness went away. I'm no pro at all, but it worked!
