I downloaded Open Office Impress and successfully did a presentation. I have an iPad 1 and it does not have Keynote, so I downloaded a free app called SlideShark to view the presentation in. However, it looks like it doesn't support music and you have to click to advance each slide.

Can anyone suggest a good presentations viewer for the 1st generation iPad that doesn't cost too much and that displays video and music?

Yes, Keynote is the best one, it's easy to use and has great features. I think it's under $10 for the iPad.

Sorry I haven't been back sooner. Thanks for the suggestion of Keynote. I'll try that one.
