Thank you so much, Sydnee for this easy tutorial on adapting templates to fit a 8.5 x 11 LO size! I love knowing the CTRL T (pc) function! Super easy! Thank you for teaching how to resize text boxes, too, with holding down the shift key while resizing to constrain the proportions. That was a new information for me, too. Can't wait to play with my 12x12 templates and the 8.5 x 11 LO size now! Thank you!!!!

Yes, Syndee, thanks! It was a great tutorial.
And I didn't know about the shortcuts. What timesavers! Knowledge is power! (and saves big time on frustration).

How do those of us who use PSE accomplish the wonderful "ctrl-T". It would be really helpful for elements or papers that fall off the edge of the document?

I guess my comment yesterday didn't get added for some reason. The shortcut Ctrl T is for the "Free Transform" tool not the crop tool. How are you using the transform tool to "trim" your 12x12 objects to fit the 8.5x11? Sue

You'll find the tutorial here in the January 5th Newsletter. You'll need to scroll about half way down the page. HTH

Oh you know what I changed the keyboard shortcut in PS for Free Transform to be Trim. I will be addressing how to do that shortly - so stay tuned!

Donna, I don't use PSE so I don't know if 'Trim' is an option for you but you can always use the crop tool - just use the crop tool to select the whole 8.5x11 document and hit crop. Unless a PSE user comes along and tells us a better way
