Hi everyone,
In today’s newsletter (January 17th) is a layout that Amy Flanagan did part of which I would like to scraplift. The part I would like to copy is her “frame” for her picture. I bought the shape and have everything else but I am not able to do it. I am assuming she worked with the shapes? How did she cover up the holes? When I clip a photo to the shape or to the shape of the paper from CRO Feeling grateful the background of the paper comes thru the holes.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

I work on a PC and have CS5 extended.

I think she used the square orange matte from CrackleNSpice- if you look carefully, the edges are not the same as the shape with the holes

I have Crackle n Spice and I checked the orange matt. I am not sure that this is it because it still has holes where the background shows thru. Also, the points on the edge go outwards where the points in the newsletter layout go inwards.

You can send a PM to Amy (Mimes) to ask her how she created the frame. Just go to her profile page here and click on Send me a message under her profile picture. HTH
