soemthing is driving me crazy
within the internet there is so much stuff you can download png, jpgs, patterns and designs etc

now my question is
how do you use the these in your designing when the sizes run any where from 5kb, 11kb 16 kb
these are tiny in size
is there something I am missing here?
or is there some program other than Photoshop to upsize them
I feel like a dunce

These would be web graphics and aren't meant to be used like this. They are likely samples or people sharing what they are up to. You can't upsize them to 300 dpi. I would be careful using them because it is likely that you might break copyright with them. Even though images are in the Internet, they are still copyrighted by the owner.

A lot of the freebies that you might find on the internet that say they are for digital scrapbooking are actually for "taggers" - those that just create web graphic signatures and things like that. They usually are much smaller than graphics created for actually creating pages. As Ro said, you can't make them bigger without them becoming pixelated.

Thanks! I'd been wondering what was meant by "tagger size". I knew it was smaller, but didn't really understand the distinction.
