I feel on Wed morning. My rolling chair in the office slipped out from underneath me as I was sitting down. I feel to the floor and landed on my butt. Needless to say I am pretty messed up. Off for an MRI in the morning. Sorry I will out on this this month!

Yikes! I missed this when I checked in last time. Hope you're doing okay!

I took a rest day for Friday. :)

It's Saturday, and I'm going to head into the gym this morning. I don't usually go there on Saturdays, but I've got to make up for missing yesterday's spin class. And the bonus? I'm dragging DH along with me! It's his first spin class, so this should be interesting.

Here's a link if you're not sure what I mean by a spin class. I take one called "RPM." It's such a great cardio workout, and it's helped me improve my running endurance a lot!

I'll check back in later after class, so I can earn my button for today.

I tried out a spinning class at our gym... um, kind of hurt to sit down for a few days after that. It was a good workout, but I think I needed a padded seat or something. :D

Directing Choir really does burn calories just like a workout. :2468who-do-we-appreciate: I've burned more today than I did on the day I did two Chalean workouts. I think it is kind of funny. I guess I'll have to stop complaining about being asked to be the church choir director. I'm even sort of learning how to do it finally. One of my complaints (besides the "I don't know what I'm doing one) was that it cut into the time I usually go walking on Sundays - who knew it would burn more calories? Getting to be pretty good friends with my little bodybugg too.

I'd be curious to wear one during my taiko classes to see how many calories I burn. I know my heartrate gets up, especially during some of the faster drills/songs.

Friday was an hour of intense housecleaning. Lots of going up and down stairs. :)
Nothing on Saturday.
Sunday - 20 minutes belly dance practice then 45 minutes of dancing in class.

This first class I took hurt afterwards, too, April. But then after that, I got to where I have learned to adjust my bike just right so it no longer does. But there are a lot of women in that class with me during the week who bring those padded seat covers along and recommend the purchase to all newbies who walk into the class. :)

I can't even express to you how excited I was to complete my workout today! I was on week 5 day 3 of my couch-to-5k training program which jumped me from those two 8-minute running intervals I did earlier this week to TWENTY MINUTES STRAIGHT of running! I've never run for 20 minutes without stopping before! I've never run a mile without stopping before! But I said a prayer, turned on my tunes, hit the pavement and talked myself through the workout without stopping! I can hardly believe it but I actually ran the full 20 minutes! It was a pretty amazing feeling when I finished :)

So yeah! I got my workout in for Saturday!! 32 minutes, a little over 2 miles. Felt amazing :)

:going-crazy:

Way to go, Ang!!!!

Does heavy-duty cleaning count? Can I use two hours worth of cleaning on Sunday to make up for my Friday?

This morning's plans are to head into the gym. I'm hoping to get there early enough to get some floor work done before spin class, but I have to wait for DH to get home from work till I can leave. He worked overnight last night, but has told me he wants to take another crack at that spin class with me.

OK so I have been out of touch for the last 4 days and didn't get much exercise done. I will be making up for it this week by doing 4 double days...ugggh! But that's what I get for not making it priority.

Kim I did 2 sets today 1 hr of Zumba and Jillian's Circuit training. So that will make up one of those days. I hope to get back and read and catch up on ya'll!

Nothing over the weekend. Busy with Mom here and my oldest son's 9th birthday party with family. Friend party is up this coming weekend (am I the only one who is tired of having multiple parties for each child?)

Base + Back done for Monday - and Sheri, it is a killer! But a good killer, lol! I like it and am glad he put breaks in there:) Lord knows I need them!
I hope to get Ab Ripper done later today as well.

I am still here! Chart is being updated now.

My DS dropped more time on his 100 back on Saturday...but still fell short .4 seconds from the school record. =( On the bright side, he dropped another 2 seconds off his 200 IM (after dropping a couple off of it on Thursday.) He placed 7th in the back and 10th in the IM. We are in one of the toughest sectionals in the state so we consider it a good finish to his swim career.

I did get 40 minutes on the elliptical tonight. Feels good to get sweaty again.

Monday, 48 minute qi gong
This morning CE push circuit 3. All kinds of quivery muscles.
The weekend was a bust other than a little cleaning in half hour spurts, about 4 times. Its good to feel strong again. You know strong is a relative term, right?

Tuesday's 45 minute tap class completed. We had a little dress-up party today... we wore masks, beads, colored hair extensions and big plastic bling rings during class. It was a riot! LOL!
